Oakland (Hudson) @ White Sox (Buehrle)

Going with the visiting A's to get the sweep here as they are rolling like a run away train headed right into the post season!

Hudson is one of the A's aces he is 14-6 on the year ERA of 2.99 in his last 3 trips to the hill he has been very impressive going 2-0 ERA of 1.57, he is 9-3 on the road ERA of 3.03 and the A's are 3-1 when he starts against the Sox. Buehrle has been one of my favorite pitchers this year but is getting one of the hottest teams in baseball and the Sox are 0-2 when he takes the mound against the A's, he has an 11-6 record on the year ERA of 3.00 but is 5-4 at home in 12 starts ERA of 3.45.

Oakland is 24-14 as a road favorite, 10-2 as a road fav. of -125 to -150 24-22 in the daytime, 64-46 on grass, 36-28 on the road and 23-19 against lefties batting a very solid .314 against them in their last 10 games. The Sox are 4-8 as a home dog, 4-7 as a home dog of +150 or less, 23-18 during the day, 58-54 on the grass, 35-28 at home and are 48-48 against right handers batting .260 against them last 10.

Two very solid bullpens with good ERA's. The home plate ump Mike Fichter has called 12 over's to 6 under's avg. of 11.09 runs a game, a strike out percentage of 62.12% and the home team is 11-11 when he is back there.

The A's are 7-1 against the Sox this year and are 8-2 in their last 10 games and are headed full steam ahead for the post season, they are fighting for a wild card berth and won't be letting up any time soon!

Play Oakland -135

nice write up - buit it is scary going against Buehrle. I think I read where he has the best era in the league since all-start break. Good luck -the A's are certainly playing the best ball in the majors in my mind.

I think when it comes to Oak, you got to either play them or pass on the game. I think there are other more solid plays on the board, but I'll play Oak small for action at the nice price based on your write-up and play.

Two impressive pitchers. Could the the under be the better play here?
