4-8 my last 12. got lucky with georgetown yesterday. i've decided to take the shooter's mentality... keep firing until you start hitting again. all plays are 1 unit.
uconn (pk) not really in love with this play, but i'm not sold on louisville being a good team. uconn is a different team at home this year. think they get it done.
st johns (+7.5) duke's recent run has come due to their focus on the defensive end of the court. there may be a definite letup as they go out of conference for this meaningless game against st johns. the red storm have elevated themselves to at least a mediocre team this year. they should keep this close.
wisconsin (+4.5) really like the badgers today. buckeyes have only played 2 'big' games this year, against north carolina and florida. if you want, you can also count the first matchup with wisconsin. the buckeyes lost all 3. i haven't seen much of wisconsin this year, but they normally don't rely on their big men to score much, at least not around the basket. they play a lot on the perimeter, which should take oden away from the basket. just please, dear lord, don't let tucker go to the line late in the game, trying to put it away.
maryland (+3) terps have won 4 straight and 5 out of 6 since starting acc play at 2-5.
arizona state (+6) sun devils are on a 1-game winning streak, so their confidence is at an all-time high.
even before their win, their last 5 losses were by 6 points or less. this game will mean a lot more to them than it does to the wildcats. arizona hasn't consistently played anywhere near their talent level most of the year.
