took a couple rough beats yesterday (final play of regulation cost me both maryland and the under that game). looking to bounce back today. all plays for one unit.
houston (+6.5) starting to think this texan team is for real. could it have been as simple at picking up matt schaub (think the falcons might like to have him back?) and ahman green? oh, and ron dayne.
they reeled off 34 straight points on the road last week after falling behind 14-0. wow. this will be the game that can solidify them as a legitimate contender.
kc (-3) would have been a 2-unit play (plus a play on the under), but now i'm seeing kelly holcomb gets the start over tavaris jackson. that is certainly an upgrade, but i'm going to stick with the chiefs. they are always tough at home. plus i love the afc vs nfc angle.
jacksonville (+3.5) not having john henderson (doubtful) certainly hurts their run defense against the broncos, but i still like the jags to keep this one close. denver needed a last-second field goal to beat both buffalo and oakland; hardly a couple powerhouse teams.
cincinnati (+3) another afc vs nfc battle. cincy's d will allow less than 51 this week, guaranteed!
atlanta (+4) joey, joey, joey, why do you suck so much? anyways, i am stubbornly clinging to my belief that atlanta is better off without vick. i have to take the points here.
ny giants (+3.5) what? the giants are AWFUL. no way you can put $$$ on them. which is why i have to do it. i'll take points from jason campbell every time, thank you.
chicago (-3) we'll see if the bears can muster up some super bowl pride here, and try to show they are still the class of the nfc. i think they'll put a big crimp in the cowboys offense and somehow find a way to win.
