well, i can't get any worse than last week (0-3). oh wait, i have more than 3 games today, so i guess i can. here goes. all plays for one unit.
washington (-3.5) 'skins are pretty good off a bye. they need to keep detroit's offense off the field.
atlanta (+8) ok, tennesse has covered 13 of their last 14. :scared that is incredible, and i hate going against that run. but they have only been favored in ONE of those games. and that was by 3 points. the last time tennessee was favored by more than 3 points was 12/11. in 2005. they beat houston by 3, if you were curious. so this is new territory for the titans. after their big 'statement' win on monday night, they have had a week off to think about how good they are now. next week, they play at division rival houston. i don't expect to see maximum effort from the titans today.
miami (+5) houston got off to a great start, then lost a tough one to indianapolis. they did not bounce back well, losing to atlanta. and they play tennessee next week. tough spot for a team trying to bounce back from a tough couple losses. plus, andre johnson is still out.
new england (-16.5) ok, i'm just going to play the pats until they fail to cover a game.
jets (+3.5) giants still suck. i'd have to take the points no matter who was favored between these two bad teams. i'm so glad every single one of their games is on up here.
denver (+1) does san diego really deserve to be favored on the road over anybody at this point? mike shanahan vs norv turner. 'nuff said.
