I have learned one thing recently... betting against Utah is a horrible investment. Now, I might lose this bet Sunday night, but after watching Portland Friday night, I'll take my chances. Utah is playing as well as anyone IMHO and Williams has a MONSTER advantage @ PG vs. whomever the Blazers want to bring. Losing Blake will only make this advantage more severe and although Camby is a nice addition, he's still old!

Jazz -1 for 6* - Wouldn't be shocked to see this line closer to 3 by tip. Jazz are hot right now and Williams is arguably the best PG in the game right now. Paul is injured, Nash is older than sand on the beach, and Kidd is solid but older than Nash:sleep: His pregame naps are ridiculous. Seriously, find me a better PG than Williams at the moment... you can't because Magic, Stockton, and the other better career PG's are retired. Jazz win this game as Williams continues to dominate anyone and everyone. I never thought he would be this good, but he's the best PG in the NBA currently!

Denver -4 for 6* - Both teams have been decent, but Boston is old and playing their 3rd road game in 4 days plus their 3rd NATIONAL TV game in 4 days. Do you not think the mile high air will make them tired:shrug: Nuggets will come ready to play especially after their 4th quarter debacle vs. the Wizards and I expect a double digit win for Denver. Thin air, short rest, old players, sounds like a recipe for a big Nuggets win!

Will add more tomorrow.

I like your Utah pick. They have looked like great the last month. I think they are something like 20-3 in there last 23 games. They play D and are solid on offense.

Portland looked completely out of it versus Boston.

I expect the line to move up as well but I'm waiting for a ML before I fire.

Fired on Memphis -4 for 4* as well... no ML's yet, but betting some games early. Sure the Nets came out of the break fast, but if the Grizz even want to consider a post season berth, they have to win this game. I see this line closer to 6 by tip. I'll take my chances as Mayo, Gay, Conley, and Randolph should come ready, plust the Nets are still really AWFUL and might have 4,000 fans or less at the game. I know Lopez is a solid 2nd year player, but the Nets are really poor everywhere else and he's nothing legit.

I can't believe there are still people awake, lol. I'm dissecting lines myself. Fired on a couple college games.

Memphis is a good team too so I like that pick as well

Last pick before going to bed...

Orlando -1.5 for 6* - Magic just loss @ Cleveland and early game gives the home team a HUGE advantage IMHO. Howard will be too much for anything Cleveland can offer in the paint and Cavs still learning to play with Jamison in the lineup. Carter should have a big game IMO as he loves the National TV audience plus he can somewhat guard the King!

Hate taking so much chalk tomorrow, but believe we'll see some chalk covering.

Thanks for the kind words D! Not sure yet about Vegas, but if I decide to go, I'll let you know in advance. Hope all is well, and best of luck to you always!

Warriors +5 for 6* - Hawks are great at home, but questionable on the road. The Golden Shower has the rare opportunity to be on National TV as well.

Pistons +5 for 4* - Nothing special about this play except I believe Detroit is starting to play better ball now.

Kings +10 for 4* - Suns have been playing better, but prefer taking double digits with a Sacramento team that typically doesn't quit.

Hornets -1.5 for 4* - Rockets have been really playing poorly in recent weeks. I also like Collison at PG as he's a solid rookie. West has also been a beast recently.

T'Wolves +5 for 4* - Tough to ever go against the Thunder, but Jefferson and Love matchup very well in the frontcourt vs. the Thunder.

Playing the whole card since we're having a winter storm though the night.

I'll take a 7-1 night so far for a total of +29.6*... not feeling overly confident in the Jazz early, but they have owned the Blazers this season and should find a way to win.
