Not to rub salt, but look at the number of shots on goal by the Kings in the third. Talk about playing not to lose! I guess they thought they were still defending The Cat.

The Kings had ONE freaking shot on goal in the 2nd 1/2 of the game. They definitely were playing not to lose, while Boston had all the momentums after scoring the 2nd goal. Very valuable lesson to the young kids on the team, though. Doesn't matter if you have Cechmanek in goal, if you keep playing in our own end, you're gonna get scored on. The Kings looked a step slower especially in the 3rd, maybe a combination of fatigue, shock, and panic set in. Bos got 4 pts on this western swing already, a prime set-up for the Quacks to get their 1st win of the season. Maybe we'll see Raycroft in goal.
