I?m
In disbelief.

I will relive this for years. I can?t imagine being a player or coach who botched a sure win like that.

Oh, and nice rules.

What a sad league that has a game decided by a legit coin toss

Fair catch puts the ball on the 25 with no time expiration, so squib is the play. Just crazy thes coaches making millions a year don't know this stuff.

Yeah, can't imagine. Especially knowing the coaches not doing anything and everything to ensure the win.

He already said, we talked about squib kicking it but we went against it because we really didn't want to win to go to the Super Bowl [emoji1785][emoji2961]

They're just mindless meatheads who would never think of this concept

Put in 11 dbs and safety's

Rush 0

Press all 5 wr at the line

Play two 3 deep coverages 15 and 25 yards off the ball and just hold every receiver as the ball is snapped and don't let go.....take the 5 yard penalty as at.least 4-5 seconds come off the clock (likely more) and force them into one final desperate hail Mary from their own 30 or 35 (after two penalties)

All 3 plays they did from kickoff to allowing kelce then hill was an immediate fireable offense...

After that end of game performance and as a Bears fan, I expect Leslie Frazier to be hired by 7am tomorrow....would be so bears

Slum i hate to call you out BUT everything in your post is WRONG.....So a high school team would have squib kicked it? and burned 6 seconds eh? So ifffff they squib kick it you obviously have no clue that whoever catches the ball for KC can just fall down and burn ZERO seconds.....They do not have to run with it at all. As soon as KC touches it clocks starts BUT they fall down and no time goes off the clock. Very basic simple rules all should know.

It never gets picked up cleanly, sometimes hits players and bounces around and most of the time they try to run it back or do a trick play. Either way we all know now in this instance ANYTHING would have been better. Sorry.

Do you really think if they squib kick it and it goes even close to the 10-20 yard line the KC player is just going to fall down???

Truly unforgettable , I was talking with friends who understand coaching and they could not name one fn coach who would have kicked to the end zone...

if the coaches did their jobs in practice for 18 weeks they should.

These types of situations are gone over the first day of drills.

Also, add to the scenario the top QB with the top weapons in the NFL. Lightning fast wide receivers and Kelce. Doubt anyone turned off the game thinking 0% chance they could pull this off with this team and game ju ju. I was watching thinking it very possible.

I have a very hard time imagining a KC player fielding the ball on the 5 yard line and just taking a knee........

on the 15-40 yard line I can see it but not deep in KC territory......

Actually, you are wrong, as soon as the ball is touched the time would run until the refs blow the play dead which would burn some clock.

So the squib quick takes 1-3 seconds off the clock and the chiefs start at the 15 or 20?

Sounds better than kicking it thru the endzone and running 0 seconds off the clock and starting at the 25.

Look....with 13 seconds left they have time for maybe.3 plays...make one of them a kick return...this then likely eliminates any chance at one if them being a fg attempt
