Sunday Santa Anita Dark Again

Heard from a friend down south, says standing water on the track, people working with equipment on the track....doesn't look good.

This is for the CHRB who mandated tracks go to synthetic surfaces.......:moon:

I just heard on the radio that the offical go/no go decision will be announced by Santa Anita at 11:00am.... :shrug:

Hey Axle.....just heard on the Canadian horse racing channel that they are pushing the first post out to 12:30 local time, but it will be a go.
Don't quote me on this, but I also believe that the lawn will be in play, but all sprints on the synthetic surface will go at 5 1/2 furlongs?

I didn't think they would go. I looked up the weather on the net and they were under a bad weather watch, lots of rain, flash flooding all kinds of crap....

Like I said yesterday, so much for the all-weather track.... :mj07:

I've heard they are moving the racing to Hollywood until they get the problems fixed here...
