Sabres -.5 [+160] at Carolina - both these teams are in desparate need of points...both teams are playing 4th game in 6 nights...Sabres beat the Bruins at Boston on Thursday, and lost a tough game at PHY yesterday, in which they played very well, especially in the third period...my gut feeling is that this carries over to todays match...

Carolina beat the Devils at NJ on Wednesday, only to lose to the Isles on Friday...Sabres have a slight edge in special teams...

In 6 of these teams last 10 games there have been at least 5 goals scored...the last three have been low scoring...so I am going with the over for decent odds, and playing the second one hoping for a last second empty netter...both teams in 4 games in 6 night situations...Brodeur is always tough at home, though...
