Haven't posted in :scared heck I don't know, but I am taking these today. As I've noted in the past, I believe TEASERS and HT plays are the best value when playing the NFL. Numbers are very scrutinized and therefore close to covering no matter which way you tease. Last week saw quite a few games that you could NOT lose no matter how you teased it. Now that's how I like to play!:SIB
NYG +1 and MINN Pickem
SAINTS -.5 and PATS -3.5
BEARS -3 and PANTHERS -1.5
COLTS Under 54.5 & NYG OVER 39
SAINTS OVER 28.5 & PATS Under 43
PANTHERS OVER 31.5 & SF OVER 33
NYG OVER 39 & CAR OVER 31.5
** ALL 6.5 PT - DOUBLE PLAYS **
Now I know most of these plays are HOME FAVS, but it's hard not to play the better team playing at home. I will play these teasers and other combinations of the same teams.
Giants should take care of business at home versus SKINS and the OVER is probably the stronger play. Skins looked a lot better last week and should score at least 20 today, so the G MEN will have to score at least 21. I figure this game to be close, but have to go with the HOMIES.
MINNY is probably a playoff team this year and if you want to make the playoffs, you better beat bad teams in your own backyard.... they win this one late as DET puts up a good effot, albeit a losing one.
SAINTS are blessed, not only in heaven but with good talent on both sides of the ball. TBAY is in trouble in my opinion and if NO wants to show the country they are for real, they need to win at home. With a rookie QB going for Tampa, I have to go with the SAINTS at home. I also played the OVER here as TBAY should get at least 10, and SAINTS 23 or more.
Harrington starting for MIAMI..... nuff said! Game stays under as PATS shut down MIA run game, and put on a RB tag team to eat clock.
Da Bears are for real and although I like the way BUF is playing, can't see CHI losing this one at home. BUFF just doesn't have enough OFFENSE to scare me away on this one.
PANTHERS need to get on track and should against a CLEV team that gave up a bunch of points to a weak RAIDER team last week in the 1H. Good thing for CLEV they were able to come back and win, but that won't work in CAROLINA. This could be a close game, but I have to believe the PANTHERS pull it out at home, but not before both teams score quite a bit. CAR 24 Clev 17 FINAL
RAIDERS and 49ers will not be a defensive battle as both teams have young QB's wanting to show their stuff. Could have a few INT's leading to easy points, so I see this game hitting in the FORTIES with ease.
As you can see, I played NYG and CAR OVER Twice, so that would be my strongest play of them all. Play em all or pick the sides you want, I feel confident on all the selections, so mix and match as you wish.
