The best part of how bad the White Sox have been is that they can only get better. Behind Colon last night, they played one of their best games of the past 30 days. I will see if they can gain some momentum from that victory and grab another in the finale this afternoon. The Sox throw their best hurler YTD today. Estaban Loaiza continues to impress in his rebirth in Chicago. Loaiza enters with a 8-2 YTD record and the league's best ERA at 1.90. He has been nothing short of great all season. All he needs to be better is some run support. Loaiza has won 8 games with his teammates basically watching. Again, a scenerio that can only get better. Expect a typical start from Loaiza today. The Sox should be able to wear down starter Odalis Perez, who has taken a step back after last season. The Dodger bats continue to struggle against better pitchers and it should lead them to defeat against Loaiza. I'll take the added value and the better pitcher in this one.
