I love these "must" games. Denver has gone from a 1.5 favorite to 3.0 favorite. Is it a public play, you decide. I'll take the dog +3.

Who's the homer , now? :)

Think it might have more to do with Kennison popping off his mouth as well as looking what KC's rushing defense has done as of late. or maybe their looking at the fact that Denver destroyed KC stat-wise last time out. Too much drama for me to make a big play, but I like the motivated home fav. But I'm as sharp as a beach ball.

Good Luck.

fwiw,

I'm not sure Denver is the "public play". In my work pool with a Denver -2' line, 28 out of 30 people took KC. I know its not a true sample size, but that is the highest percentage for any game this year.

never said the play was a public play either way, I said you guys need to decide. It might be a homer play, I'll leave that for you to decide.

Just passing my opinion. gl!

thanks for the support. I need to clarify myself before running from this thread.

I'm a simple numbers cruncher, and try not to put the homer play into the factor.

I have KC winning by 1-3 points, but I do worry about Portis and the lack of a KC run & pass defense. The Chiefs defense sucks, period.

Also worried about Kennison shooting his mouth off, but I think the rest of the team and coaches have quieited that to some degree.

Also not here to agrue which way the public is going. That is always a percieved notion, and arguably so.

agree with you kcwolf...but then again, there may be a homer factor involved in my reasoning as well. I think it is crazy to think that the Chiefs won't be able to keep this a close game -- just look at the recent history for the past 3 years. Like I said in a previous thread, Kansas City tends to play up or down to their level of competition. I expect a high scoring game with the offense running on all cyllinders. I think the Kennison "mouth" factor may be cancelled out by the fact that there is a good deal of dissension going on among Bronco players with the coach (although not to the same degree as the Raiders camp). It's never a good idea to have the coach act as the GM as well. Holmgren let go of that responsiblity this year, and now his team is in good shape to make the playoffs.

fatboy, i run a pool at my work every week also. we pick 6 games using a 6* thru 1* system. hit a game and add that many units, miss a game and subtract the units. although KC isnt high on most peoples list, they are still playing them alot. i use mine as a go against also, and have stated in here once before when i was doing it. last week 80% was on tenn and i bet the jets. we all know what happened. it has happened a couple of other times this year. if most have a team as their 6 or 5, i play the other way hard. another week that comes to mind is when jacksonville covered against indy. was just replying cuz i seen your post. GL on your plays KC :)

That takes care of any Super Bowl aspirations of that swiss cheese D of a football team. The public play was the KC Chiefs. Its picks like this yhat helped you to a 1060-1048 -17900 documented record on Bestbettor.com,second to last only to Fletchers gamblers data since Jack mysteriously pulled Raymonds horrible documented record off for some reason.Public indeed!

edludes - yeah, real smart

How come u didn't post KC's NFL record for THIS Season - oh yeah, that's right, 54-29-2 +58.10 wouldn't suit your point too well would it? ;)

And if anyone thinks this is just another member of Wayne's service sticking up for the boss, I haven't done any work for Wayne in over a year...just can't dedicate the time it deserves ...

suffice to say your manner in this thread was real classy...
