Syracuse +4 (I've always liked syracuse in the dog role...especially at home. UConn has failed to cover their last 5 on the road and have lost 2 of those 5 SU as well. Syracuse is playing pretty well right now having won 4 in a row SU and 3 of the 4 ATS....all on the road...one of which was at Pitt. They are now finally coming home where they are 11-3...thoughts of the whipping UConn laid on them back in February by 28 I'm sure are on the players minds.....the atmosphere should be great in the dome today.....I'll take the points.)


Old Dominion +3 1/2 (VCU didn't impress me yesterday in their lackluster win over Towson. This is the 3rd meeting between these two this year.....there are no secrets....VCU won both but ODU played 'em pretty close....I'll take the points and hope they can make the 3rd time the charm.)

virginia +10 1/2 (virginia has stunk on the road posting a 3-6 SU record.....however feel they are playing good ball right now having won 3 in a row SU and ATS...again albeit at home....but two of those wins were against formiddable foes in north carolina and wake forest....with this little streak, they have seen themselves creep into at least being mentioned as a possible bubble team....a win on the road here would do wonders for their hopes....don't think they get the SU win but think they can keep it within the pretty large #.......virginia should be in full-try mode tonight....and with their cnfidence at the years high point....I'll take the points and hope those factors manifest themselves into a solid effort tonight.)


pepperdine/st. mary's over 157 (played twice this year already....first game saw 199-points and the second a mere 168-points. The way I see it, there are only two options when it comes to playing a total of a game involving coach paul westphal...stay off of it or bet the over...I'm going over and hoping they play the third in the same manner as the first two.)
