YTD: 16-2 ($3410.00)
Got off to a good start in my reincarntion here at Madjacks. I'm struggling this morning wondering how I was as fortunate as I was---is it the beard that I'd grown and was going to shave today---should I shave it now---maybe it's something I wore---if so, should I not take a shower and wear the same clothes---luck, is definitely a strange bedfellow. Now if only I can keep the little voices out of my head telling me if I only make so much more I can go buy this or that (only $27,000 more and I can go get the new 2005 Mustang Fastback I've been waiting for...lol)
Today:
Stanford -1 (330/300)
.....New head coach, loss of 3 key players, can they still win? I think so. Being a Cardinal fan, I tend to shy away from betting them. They are, after all, the Stanford Cardinal, and they are unbeatable and can cover any spread. That being said. That being said, I'm proud of how they played Louisville on Wednesday. They really could have gotten the shit kicked out of them, but they didn't (IMO). As 8 point underdogs, they hung very well for the FH and really didn't let down until late in the 2H. Taquan Dean had a career game putting up 30 pts. I don't see anyone on this SC team who is going to do that. Chris Hernandez is healthy and poised for a solid year. Matt Harryass (Haryasz) and Rob Little (a Stanford center from Hampton, VA?) will fill in quite nicely. Now this SC team did put it to North Carolina, but l can't see the same thing today. I think that was a lack of mental preparedness on the part of the Tar Heels (again IMO). You won't see that too often on the part of the Cardinal brainiacs. Stanford by 8.
Going to see National Treasure and maybe a couple others today. Hope everyone has a great day.
