The Red Sox are watching their lead in the AL East fade
away, and the confusion surrounding both their starting
rotation and bullpen is becoming a real concern. Why not
stay with a hard hitting Detroit team that overcame a 6 run
deficit last night and has averaged close to 7 runs per game
over the past two weeks? Nate Robertson has put together
a better season (3.85 ERA overall) than has David Wells,
and his numbers in his last two starts have been sensational
(1.69 ERA). The Tigers have turned a nice profit vs. lefties this
year (+$545) and we're getting a huge price in today's matchup.
Perfect situation for the visitor to play spoiler.

Philadelphia Phillies bettors can almost hear the sweet cha-ching! of the cash register drawer whenever their club takes the field against an NL West opponent.

The same can probably be said for a lot of clubs, but that division has been especially kind to Philadelphia and its backers this season. The Phils are 22-7 against the NL West, and will try to keep it going when they visit the Arizona Diamondbacks tonight.
