Everybody knows the Browns are rebuilding with a new head coach, new general manager, new systems and new players at just about all positions. But are you aware the Packers had a large roster turnover, too, with 11 rookies making the team. The Packers averaged an NFL-low 10.2 points of offense during preseason and were held to a pathetic three points by the Lions opening week. The Packers are trying to get by using injury-prone Adrian Klemm and seventh-round draft pick Will Whitticker to replace departed Marco Rivera and Mike Wahle at the guard spots. That?s a huge downgrade made even more difficult with rusty center Mike Flanagan coming off a season-ending injury last year. The Browns can run on Green Bay?s youthful defensive line and they have good wideouts with Antonio Bryant and rookie Braylon Edwards. They can hurt a Packer secondary that allowed an NFL-worst 33 touchdown passes last season. Veteran Browns quarterback Trent Dilfer knows how to manage a game. This can?t be underestimated because a key to beating the Packers is keep Brett Favre off the field. The Packers no longer are anything special at Lambeau Field thanks to Mike Sherman. They are just 9-7 SU their past 16 at home.
