Changers -12.5 very big

The Bolts will score a ton of points and Shawn Merriman (in his last game before serving his suspension) will lead a large defensive effort as San Diego will crush visiting Cleveland this afternoon. The Bolts are spread runs of 12-5-1 at home and 9-3 as a double digit chalk, while Cleveland is only 6-13 ATS in its last 19 as a double digit pup. Yes, Cleveland won for the second time this year with last week's win over the visiting Flyboys. But this is a woeful offensive attack that is ranked 31st in the league and they will struggle against San Diego's second-ranked defense. Charlie Frye has tossed 11 picks this year and Cleveland has a minus-8 turnover margin. Cleveland can't run and won't be able to on this San Diego defense.

The Bolts have a plus-7 turnover margin and will move the ball both running and passing today. Cleveland is horrible stopping the run (28th in the league) and L.T. will have a huge game. The Bolts are 3-0 SU/ATS at home this year and have out-scored their opponents by a 101-44 margin at Qualcomm. The Bolts will roll again Sunday.

RAMS-2.5 VERY BIG

Merriman will begin his four-game suspension for violating the league's steroid policy this week. He had appealed the suspension, but dropped it earlier this week.

Rested Washington (8-3 ATS off a bye) was embarrassed 27-10 at Dallas in Week 2 and it will gain some serious revenge with this outright win over the Pokes today. A loss today basically puts Washington out of the playoff race. They'll put everything into this one and will take out a beating on this up-and-down Dallas team. Desperation is a great motivator and Washington will be amped up for this game from the opening kick.

Clinton Portis didn't play in the first meeting, and with Washington having some issues at the quarterback spot, Portis will come large against this Dallas team that can be run on (remember what the G-Men did on Monday night 13 days ago?). The Pokes are banged up in the secondary and Washington could burn them with play-action. Offensively, Dallas is still sub-par along the offensive line and this Washington defense has been decent against the run. Once again, this is a desperate football team in our nation's capital. And such a team catching points at home against a hated rival is a dangerous animal. Washington, which swept the Pokes last season, will get revenge for their Week 2 embarrassment in Big D as Washington wins this one outright.

What do you think about the over in the stl/kc game? Both teams have been scoring 20+ and giving up 20+ a game for the past few weeks. I am playing:

Dal/Was Under 41
Chi -13.5

Romo is not going to be able to pass all over the Wash D that is now healthy.

The bears are a team out to prove a point every game. Jason Taylor's comments will be bulletin board material for Chicago. This game should be over by the half.
