Not usually too crazy backing a west coast team coming across the country and playing early, but the 49ers are coming off a bye and were able to rest up some bangs/bruises. It appears that Davis may play, and they were able to get Dilfer some reps. A heavy dose of Gore should neutralize one of the Giants strentghs which is getting after the QB. Also a short week for the G-Men, to which they are due for a clunker, right?
