The pocket book is a little lighter today. Lost 12.4 units yesterday, ending the month of June: -17.4 units.
I spent a few moments trying to learn from this, as I always do. I try and jot down a few notes to keep in a file. Some notes will only apply to this season. Others may be worth applying for a longer time.
I'd like to share a couple of things I came away with last night. You may disagree, but that's fine. We are all here to learn and be successful.
The STREAK is your FRIEND! I learned this a long time ago, but constantly fail to apply it from time to time. Yes, I played KC yesterday, but crossed out two other plays: LAD & ARZ. What was I thinking! Great value on ARZ at a pk against a COL team in a slump. LA -135, a small price to lay on a streaking LA team vs SD for pete's sake!
Two more things:
1) TX: I wrote a note at the beginning of the season to stay away from this team and play against them when the opportunity arises. With out looking back, that reasoning probably represents 25% of my current profits. The Rangers have no pitching, period.
2) KC: I worked harder crunching numbers on that under last night, than probably any other game this season. I feel this a club one should stay away from as far as ov/un plays. I watch most of there away games and just see to much inconsistency. They may come back into play after they trade away more of their best players. They do it every year.
