Thunder - This one will be painful on the homefront if the Pack doesn't get it done. I may not be able to leave the house or listen to the radio for a week.

yes

they were already favored this year in chicago this year

some teams no matter how ass bad they are, are considered good and betting favorites no matter what their on the field performance suggests (see the chargers, favs in all 16 games this year) and some teams no matter how good they play, are considered betting dogs (see the bears/lions this year)

in this case, the packers were/are a betting favorite since sept and a public team while the bears (also a public team) were considered betting dogs all year (see their soft lines of 3 in most games including buff-atl-etc, etc)

wont make any game guarantees other than the line is right where i thought it would be (based on how these teams are perceived) but not where it should be (based on on the field performance all year)

Chargers were 3 point dogs to the Colts this year

Thunder.............

Maybe you can give your opinion on why the Packers had such a hard time beating the Bears in the must win game in week 17...........

I like GB but I cant get over the fact at how close that game was when GB really needed it and they could only muster 10 points at home............

the previous 4 games the Bears defense gave up,34,14,36 and 20.................

Just cant get over the fact that GB had such a hard time scoring at home in a must win game...........

Thanks

and how many points did the Bears score...the bears have not scored over 20 points the last 6 meetings with the Packers....better defense better offense and better qb...packers is a no brainer just like pitt....they both roll this week:00hour

Sure they're no-brainers.

But......No-brainers don't always win.

Only way Chicago or Jets can win is if the special teams do great things otherwise they both get the beatdown

Agree 100% GURU.....agree!!! Also agree with YYZ anything can happen in a football game....my action is on GB and Pitt and I bet them Sunday night at -3! At my book a ton of ML action is on JETS (over 70%) and Bears (close t0 60%) :0074

Love YYZ post in another thread regarding Packs losses revolving around Rodgers concussions. Really good info!! :0074 :toast:

I think RRC asks a a valid question regarding the total and why it is so high at 43.5 and hasn't come off that number? I wont bet the total, but would like to hear commentary about that line, as it does appear to be asking for under $$

So if the Bears can just find a good Punt Returner they might be in good shape. I think I will go against the sharps and Joe Public and play the Bears this week in the Windy City. If I lose- I will just double up on Pitt and get it back with the Steelers in the AFC Main Event!

Good Luck Brothers- unless you like the Jets!

Those "sharps" also supposedly pushed the Oregon line 3 points in one day. How did that turn out?

Minnesota bar to roast Bear for NFC Title game

Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on January 23, 2011, 10:29 AM EST

Well, we?ve officially run out stories with less than six hours to go before the NFC title game. But we?ll post this one anyway.

The Associated Press passes along the vital information that a Minnesota bar owned by a Packers fan has decided to cook a 180-pound black bear in a pig roaster to show his support for Green Bay on Sunday.

Unfortunately, the state health department rejected the owner?s plan to serve the bear meat to his customers. Instead, they can take pictures with the roasting bear.

And then the dude is taking the meat to his cousin?s party so they can dig in. Yum.
