I would agree somewhat when it comes to seeding, but I think this is it for Pearl, and I am betting strong on the Vols today.
I said last week that I believe Pearl will resign at the end of the year so he will take the brunt of the 'AA's punishment - AS HE SHOULD - so I think knowing, or at least believing, that this is his last game at the Tommy Bowl, he will have the guys ready to go. B. Williams is out, and I think that is a good thing. He is lazy, whiny, and the biggest underachiever I have ever seen.
Hopson has been playing playing out of his mind lately, and Toby Harris will want to go out with style because I think he is already a late first rounder, early second rounder.
Vols have six seniors and you combine the strong chances that Harris and Hopson leave and it's going to be interesting to see who is coaching AND playing here next year.
I think Pearl is the best thing that has ever happened to UT basketball, but I also think he is a lying, selfish, piece of sh*t. He will get an analyst job somewhere or be an NBA assistant, and his assistants will be black-balled for lying for their boss. Knowing how hard assistant cbb coaches work, it makes me want to spit in his face.
I will say this though, if the Vols win their first round game in the dance, NO ONE will want to play them after that. If they play a mid-major in the first round, they lose. If they play another big conference opponent, look out. I can assure you that those #1 or 2 seeds don't want them in the 2nd round. I think they are a #10 now, but can go no higher than an 8.
