kansas city (+1.5) 2 units. yes, the chiefs are awful, but they're getting points from a team that's even worse right now. how do the colts not just pack it in after their horrendous start and two heartbreaking losses the last two weeks?

arizona (+3.5) 1 unit. ok, this one is even tougher, but it's the same situation. i'm getting points from a team that's 0-4. the reason this one is tougher for me is because the vikings can get after the qb, and kolb has looked terrible under pressure. the flip side of that is, if they don't get to kolb, their pass defense has been terrible, giving up 286 yds/game and a passer rating of 96.7.

buffalo (+3) 2 units. i'll take the points from a team that has been incredibly disappointing so far this season with a team that has nearly matched their win total from last year already. besides, it's very easy betting on teams coached by chan gailey. this was true at georgia tech and it's true now (not sure about when he was at dallas). anyway, just play the 'dog in games involving a gailey-coached team. 4-0 so far this year.

tampa (+2.5) 3 units. sure, some day this ridiculous run on the road will end for the bucs. but you have to go back to 2009 for the last time the bucs lost a road game ATS. i'll keep riding the gravy train until it leaves the tracks.

denver (+3.5) 2 units. the whole world is on the chargers and the line is dropping? alrighty then.

one of these days, i'll play a fav in the nfl.

it's the dog days of october?

looking at the nfl, it's harder and harder for me to play many favs. these teams are just so bad, and there's so much parity. if i had a brain, i'd be playing them all on the money line.
