I apologize for posting late yesterday, I deserved to be chastised. I went brain dead, thinking I posted one hour before those games started.

The stars (or keys) pretty much came into alignment on this game. I would consider this a 10 unit play, but I still have the bad taste in my mouth for Appier.

The Halos have enjoyed success against LH pitching. Appier has had good success against the Indians, Sabbathia to the contrary.

Cleveland's bullpen is suspect tonight and HP umpire Chris Guccione shouldn't hurt the cause.

Guccione avg 9.3 rpg. I don't pay much attention to an umpire's record on over and unders, face value. You need to apply his record to each individual game.

Guccione has a medium strike zone. He is 4-0 with -185 favorites. Coupled with the above information and the Halos loss yesterday, I consider it a good play.

I still worry about Appier, as stated above. The Cleveland BP and Halo's hitting against lefties overrided the Appier concern.

Hope this helps you understand the thinking behind my warped mind.

Chris Guccione is a solid medium range dog ump but for the last month has gone into his make-up mode. With the umps, you have to realize that sometime during the year they will change directions. About the time the public picks up on them. At the end of the year their records will be very deceiving. I personally won't play Ana because of Guccione but I sure do like the play on the run-line. Should be a lot of runs scored in this game. Good luck KC.
