the cleve plays are obviously contrarian. simply put: nagy will not have an 8.00 era when the season is over. Wakefield tends to get pulled just in time for bosox pen to screw things up. something about boston makes them a bad favorite...

det: didja know that chx is merely 6-6 behind buehrle on the road, and that chx is 26-41 overall on the road? And they are -150?

SD: didja know that col is worse, 22-46 on the road? Same rule applies to col as chc: can not be favored on the road. Eaton has had problems against col in the past, but that is the past.

thought parque was chunking for chi today??(nope just read buehrle was getting moved up and starting today, you're right)

also i wouldnt necessarily spend -200 on bosox, but i really do think nagy's era is indicative of what he slops up there right now. i think we may be seeing the last of this guy for a bit, dont know if you have seen him lately, but he has high school stuff right now, 86mph isnt fooling anyone anymore and i read he has little cartilage left in his elbow. so maybe that could work in your favor(as he knows he only has a few starts left in his career)...now watch him throw a 3 hit shutout..

by the way, just a reminder to everyone else reading this, rosters expand today..cleve set to call up of magruder and p elder accirding to paper..

thanks for the thoughts, wigs....too bad you were right. Here's a tip: if I really like and talk up one of my plays, fade it. I only lost those two by a combined 14-1....
