Michigan st (-5.5) 3 units. UConn should have lost to st joe's, then they beat a very overrated villanova team and iowa st without one of their best players. today will be a different story. they are playing probably the best team in the country right now. and if anyone missed it, napier was EXHAUSTED at the end of the iowa st game. I know they're college kids, etc, etc, but I'm curious just how much he'll have left in the tank in the 2nd half today. and i'll be surprised if daniels, who has been very inconsistent all year, has another big game today.

sparty's win over Virginia was one of the most impressive performances I've seen this tournament. they really looked like a championship team. I expect them to just physically wear down UConn today and pull away.

Kentucky (-2) 3 units. unless Michigan hits 78% of their 3-pointers for the entire game, Kentucky should win. as I said on Friday, they are finally playing like the soon-to-be-nba players that they are. and I'm sure they are looking forward to completing the sweep of last year's championship game participants.

FWIW, UK did a much better job guarding the 3-point line this year than Tennessee. UK is 53rd in the country; Tennessee is 186th. so hopefully Michigan won't have QUITE as many wide open 3s today.

the fact that cauley-stein is (probably) out, and UK is still favored, tells you all you need to know.
