Detroit (-2) 2 units. way too much love for what looks to be a mediocre packers team.

st louis (ML) 2 units to win 2.3. I swear, people's opinions flip flop on the cowboys more than any other team. after week one, it's "oh my god, they are TERRIBLE!! romo the homo is a turnover MACHINE!!" then they beat a fairly mediocre titans team and everybody thinks they should be favored the next week on the road. sure they're playing another mediocre team but, news flash, the cowboys are also mediocre. now they're on the road for the second straight week against a young team that I'm sure would love revenge for last year's blowout loss at dallas.

*side note* I'm pretty sure that paragraph tied a world record for most uses of the word "mediocre".

we now resume our regular programming.

Washington (+5.5) 2 units
Washington (ML) 2 units to win 3.8. as someone who needs the redskins to win less than 8 games this year, I hated to see RGIII get injured. cousins may not be the second coming of joe montana, but he obviously gives the 'skins a much better chance of winning. if the eagles keep spotting their opponents nice leads, they're going to start losing these games.

Houston (pk) 3 units. feels just like last week, when I said that 7 weeks from now, people are going to look back and wonder how the hell the Texans were only laying 3 at Oakland. ok, this feels WAY too easy. but so did last week. and it's gotta be tough, travelling to Oakland, back, to Houston (I'm assuming), then to NY. oh, and foster probably isn't going to play. ain't gonna matter. the giants are BAD.

Cleveland (ML) 2 units to win 2. i'll keep saying it... I'm going to ride Cleveland until manziel starts. then i'll be fading them every week.

san fran (-3) 2 units. yay, road chalk! the niners own the cards. 2011 is the last time the niners didn't beat the cards by at least 3. and that's the only time in the last 5 years. as much as I like playing backup qbs in their first start, I also like playing against them in their second start. that's usually when they remind everyone why they are the backup.

seattle (-4) 2 units. ok, maybe this won't be as easy as it was the last time they met, but I haven't seen anything to make me think that seattle won't dominate denver at home.

pitt/carolina over (42) 2 units. my new rule is that I play over on whichever game has the highest percentage on the under. this is it!
