Carolina (-3) over Atlanta
I am not sold on the Falcons and the panters are a strong home team. They have the speed and quickness to contain Vick on defense as well as a great offense against an overrated Atl defense. This is a big game in the division and I'm not sure Atlanta has thecorner coverage to stay with Smith and Colbert. Also Atlant is a cocky team and normally if they play well one week they come in a bit sleepy the following week which is something they cannot do. The Panthers Defense, better power running game and home field make this a play.
Pitt (-3) over Cincy
This play is a bit scary considering how bad Pitt looked last week but this is a proud team and should look to rebound from the Colts beating. Also the Steelers are a very good home team and they seem to play a hell of a lot better at hienz. Big ben better show up because the fanms are getting restless with his poor decision making. Regardless Cincy is a very good team and they have an extremely good offense and a ball hawking defense but they did lose to the steelers once this year andat home off a terrible showing on MNF the steelers have something to prove. The Bengals coasted to a big win over the Ravens, Johnson has given them bulletin board material and the steelers come out in a must win game.
Chicago (-6) over GB
Normally like backing Farve because he doesn't quit but the Chigao defense should hold that team to little and be able to establish the run on they all day. GB has owned Chicago in the past but today Lovie has his boy ready to go in the cold home field. The front of Chicago should get real used to getting to farve and it they pressure him then the bears will get turnovers and they can counter. I have to back the better defense, run game and home fied advantage in this match-up.
Browns (ML) over JAX
Too cold for the jag, no leftwhich, Cleveland is a good home team. They start Frye and they should be set to play this jax team thatjust started to regain form before losing Taylor and leftwhich. Now the Browns take care of business in the pound.
NE (-10.5) over NYJ
Jets stink..... NE is home and in the cold where they love to play. Not sure if any of the jets even want to play today. Law makes his return trip to NE.
Dallas (ML) over NYG
Defense, defense, defense..... big D causes problems for the giants because they will force Manning all day. Big Drew can find open WR all day and the line will give him time.
