Wash(ML) over NYG

The giants have looked great some games and poor in others. The had the benefit of playing 3 weaker teams to start the season. Young Manning has come into his own and with targets like Plax and Shockey he can stretch the field. Then there is Tiki, who will receive more touches because Coughlin feels it will take the pressure of Manning. However, the redskins defense is relatively healthy and Williams has his contingent that he wanted to start the season. Springs and Harris at the corners with Rogers in the dime. Taylor and Bowen can run stop and cover and Pirloue (sp) is a desent cover man as well. The LB's are tough and with Arrington being used more the defensive schemes and this should be where Eli makes mistakes. The different blitz packages will make it very difficult for the giants o-line. The redskins offense has come on of late, the max protection gives Brunell time and the ability to let routes develop. Portis got a taste of the endzone last week and hope he gets a few more trips today. Both teams will be locked in and ready for this game. The NY crowd will be a big factor and the death of player/coach loved GM will be a motivator. Still the skins have looked good in Arrowhead, solid in Denver, beat Dallas in Big D and should be ready for this game. IMO the defense makes a big impact for the skins. Washington has to take the crowd out of this game early but they should win the game. Washington would have won about 9 more games last year if they averaged 15 points per game and not the 11 they did. That defense and the new offense should get it done in the swap.

Just couldn't come up with a clear-cut winner on this one irish. Kept going back & forth so just played the total. Pretty confident both offenses will put up some points. Went with the over. GL on your play :mj14:

Thanks fellas

JAX (-4.5) over St. Louis
This smells a little funny with JAX off a bye week and playing a St. Louis team that looks to be without Bulger, Holt and Bruce, oh AND THEIR HEAD COACH. Also the best defensive player Little might be out again after the death of his little brother, rumor is he will not return until after the bye week next week. This is not the best time to get the Jags defense. Looks like the Rams will just hand off all day and that means the Jags will be all over the running game. If the rams try to pass the speedy D-line for Jax should be all over Martin which will mean turn overs. IMO the Rams have lost oo much offence to just hope the running game wins this game. The Jags got a much needed rest last week and they have had 2 weeks to prepare for the Rams offense. If this was in JAX it would be about 9 points and the Rams home field advantage doen't scare me into thinking they feed off the dome crowd. Jags #5 Defense will be all over the Rams and their back up QB.

Radiers (-1) over Titans
The Radiers found out they can run the ball last week using Moss to stretch the field and they have the talent at WR to get production from !v! coverage on Gabriel or Curry or even Porter because the Tenn secondary is not the strongest. This is a play based on out of both teams ofenses IMO Oakland can be more productive. Both teams have holes in the defense but the D-line of Oakland looked better last week than in week prior. The injuries oin the Oakland secondary leave big holes but the offense will just have to out play Tenn in this game.
