Hudson Valley area.....NY
Saved a little yest on 2 plays but still lost on North Texas and Buffalo. Both lines dropped from NT -33.5 and -33 to -31.5 Still played it but for less.Rutgers line went from -12 to -10.I did get it at -12 earlier and thought I covered when it was 21-10 with 2 minuts to play. But rutgers kicked a FG to make it 24-10.
Was lucky with Fresno covering and Wisky came back after being down all game.
Won big with UConn. They have Army here next week.Intrested to see what the line will be.
NT looked pretty bad last nite.No offense vs OU's defense.A lot of mental mistakes and dropped passes.Think they rebound big next week vs Baylor in Denton.

Like Kentucky -5.5 today.I know a lot of you are on that one too.The vistor is 4-1 ats the past 5 times though.Think Lorenzen with his OL dictate this game.UK defense is terrible.Last 2 times its been low scoring games.Louisville's breaking in a newbie QB,on the road.I'll go with the Kats for a small play.

Like VT -21.5 to dominate Central Fl.I remember them lyr almost beating Penn St.Schneider was unreal at Qb.They had the Cuse beaten but lost by a couple. But they lost a lot of their offense. And Vt is loaded on D.UCF has only 2 returning starters on the OL.
VT offense is explosive.UCF 's defense has 8 guys back but they gave up a lot of pts.VT's OL in huge.Think they win this battle.
Jones will let everyone forget Suggs.Vick will pop in someplace.
Small play for VT

Texas -29.5 over New Mex St
Heavy rain is predicted for the start of the game.Another part of a hurricane is down there. You Austin people, give us an upgrade.
NMST runs option football. Both Qb's are solid.UT's strength is its 3 WR's and great TE's.Mock will add another dimension to UT's attack. But if the rain and field are bad I'll take the +29.5 and the Aggies.Weather could negate UT's Williams and co passing attack. benson on the ground will be enough to handle.
NMSt's offense could give Texas some problems. But Texas's offense should dominate the weak Aggie defense.Unless the field and conditions are bad.
Small lean for UT -29.5.But weather could change that play.GL

here in austin and i am trying to watch the radar. nothing has come down yet and for now it doesn't look like much is near (next hour or so), but there could be plenty behind it. overcast skies, but definitely no sun. my gut feeling is that much of the stuff from grace doesn't get here until late tonight, early tomorrow morning, and all day tomorrow.

we are taking the ponchos as precautionary measures, but I don't think it will ever get that bad.

try to get a rushing prop on benson if you can...think he is going to have a big season, and possibly a big game today.

good luck

yo Boxy.... it's always been noted that the sunbelt teams CANNOT run with the big gun higher echelon teams in the div I.....

to FURTHER compound the problem, NT has NOT had a good offense for the last 2 years (make it three THIS year).

So it's no surprise they lost by that much.....i was expecting a blowout and i got the +34.5 early.....but gee man, they kinda had a few braincramps on both ends of the ball which if they didn't, it would have probably saved your NT play last nite.

Stay away from NT until they hit their sunbelt sched where they should run the table again this year....the only things that scares me in the sunbelt race is that Idaho didn't lose by as much as i thought they would have last nite against washington st???....they actually held in tough last nite? Imagine if the Vandal's Harrington was a bit better last nite....? The score might have been a bit closer.

Harrington completed 12 of 30 passes for 133 yards with three interceptions

you can't do that against the "big boys"...:nono:

Mack Brown and the Longhorns in the past 5 years since Brown has been Headcoach are 0-5 ATS in openers........the last time we played NM State we won 41-7 and the weather was sunny and no inclimate weather whatsoever.....at that time Texas was ranked #5 in the nation..........just an FYI......In leaning NM State + pts........

weather report

weather report

I live ten minutes from the stadium, and we had some sprinkles just a few minutes ago but they have now stopped. It's overcast with gray skies. Will update closer to game time.
