SAN ANTONIO SPURS -8 - The Spurs nipped the Celtics 81-80 on Sunday, but they could be excused for that rather lethargic effort because it was their first game back home after a 3-game West Coast road trip. Their defense still played very well, but I expect an improved showing by the offense tonight in their second game of the homestand. There is also a matter of revenge, as San Antonio lost 94-87 at Phoenix earlier this year. The Suns are certainly playing great basketball, going 14-3-1 ATS in their last 18 games. However, San Antonio has been a House of Horrors for them, as they lost their last 5 visits here by an average of 15.0 points, including a 95-71 shellacking on their last trip in.
