I already have over 56.5 and now it is time to pick the game..
I have seen many people here and at other sites picking the Colts and the UNDER.. I personaly do not see both hitting and here is why..
To take the Colts and the under one would think the colts will hold the Saints to 24 points or less and it if the Saints did get to 24 the Colts would have to score 32 or less.. Not much leeway to be confident so in jest Colts and under bettors are banking on the Colts to hold the Saints UNDER 24 points.. I just do not see how it is going to happen or why it is going to happen.. I would think if you take the Colts one would take the OVER.. The Saints are a very, very good offensive football team and the Colts offense could be their best defense but I fully expect both teams to make "Big" plays. So I am not worried about the short passing game that the Colts use to eat clock. Why? The Saints will be blitzing a ton leaving a wide open field for big plays if they do not get to Manning...
So why do people think that the Colts will stop the Saints.. Is it because they watched my Vikes shut the offense down in the second half.. Let's remember poeple judge on what they just seen but the Colts defense is not even close to the Vikes and the Colts have not witnessed a team this explosive.
Now to my pick.. I am taking the Saints to cover 4.5.. I should of put this in the other day to get 5.5 but WTF?? Call me nutty but I think it is the Saints year., I think they come up with a BIG play on defense or Special teams that wins this game. The tough part is going against a Peyton Manning team which never lost a game that they tried to win. At the very least I could see a back door cover anywayss.. I like the Saints 34 - 29
