Yo hash, what's the scoop on VA? I haven't seen either of these teams play this year but just looked at stats and it appears that NC is better on paper. Just wanted to get your expertise on this one :0074

Virginia is a tough, hard-nosed team that will make this a dogfight. They play excellent defense but can struggle on the offensive end. To tell you the truth though, this is more of a play against UNC. They suck on the road and the home team traditionally does very well in this series. I look for UNC to make a lot of turnovers and stupid shots and for Virginia to pull out a close one.
Sorry I didn't see this before, baller. I would have tried to talk you out of it. This was a really bad spot for Kansas. They basically had 2 weeks off between the Ohio State game and this one as their only other game was American. They looked rusty and not up to game speed for much of the contest.
And Temple is one of the most dangerous teams in America. They turn every game into a grindfest and that kid, Wyatt, can score with the best of them. It was very impressive how he got Releford, one of the best defenders on the country, into foul trouble. That never happens with Releford. Temple is a very tough team and I sure hope we don't see them in the tourney. Great game that we pulled out in the end.

Yeah, this game is painful to watch after the high-quality basketball I watched in the Temple/KU game earlier. Both of these teams have major issues. I still like Virginia's chances to cover. I look for some boneheaded plays from Carolina and possibly some home-cooking from the officials to swing things our way. Hopefully your Heels will get better as the year goes by as I am sure they will. Young team that needs to learn how to play defense and to exhibit focus. Good luck.
