had em right today... didn't wager much, but still nice to be on the right side.

I bet on KC to win it all about 6 wks ago on a 'futures' bet...
and I still think that will happen. (I'd taken Saints from the nfc)

Here's how I'm seeing it at this time...

1) When the whole stadium knew that Rodgers was throwing the ball in the 2nd half today, he was still able to do it pretty well...
1a) with Mahomes (and his stable of speedy wr's that is unmatched in football), do I think they will struggle to throw the ball.. move the ball.. score against SF? I don't see SF really stopping em..
1b) Yes, SF has a highly energetic def line, which has been the primary reason they're the #1 pass defense
1c) Has ANY team been able to corral Mahomes? I'd guess that he and Russel Wilson are the top 2 at avoiding the sack and creating plays with their feet...
1d) Has any defense stopped Tyreek Hill?? Kelce? Hardman? Watkins (not a bad 4th option)

2) SF will try to control the ball, run run run and keep Mahomes on the sideline...
2a) So, how'd that work for the Titans today?
2b) Yes, I think the KC defense is better than GBay's... imho

3) I see a high-scoring game... no way around it.. OVER.. OVER.. OVER
3a) Even with all the run run, the game still had 57 points... OVER.
3b). SF will have to open it up to keep up... OVERRRR

okay... those are my initial thoughts... I've been ill for 5 days, and still weak and tired... so I'ma say nite

I think this a prime example of defense wins championships... I?m a huge niners fan and maholmes mobility has me nervous as shit .. KC showed that yeah they can stop the run as they shut Henry down and basically said let?s see if tannehill can beat us.. good for them.. SF doesn?t rely on just one guy in there running scheme .. they run numerous motions and have kittle as the X factor with the play action.. Niners D definitely shows vulnerability sometimes and if that doesn?t get the best of them I like SF to win the game .. JMO

I could also see the defenses being a factor in this game. I've watched every minute of every Chiefs game and admittedly am a life long fan. I don't bet against them personally (bad juju) but I do sometimes bet with them. Their defense has been phenomenal the past few weeks. It took a while for Spagnuolo to blend the various parts into a cohesive unit but they are formidable now. They have swagger and hit hard. So unlike recent past defenses under Cunningham. Honey Badger has found new life as a leader. Frank Clark is finally playing as advertised when they got him. Chris Jones is virtually unblockable. They have taken pressure off what was an underperforming linebacking group and allowed them to do more basic things. There are a lot of good athletes that allow Spagnuolo to use his creative blitz schemes that have produced results and pressure on QBs and good RBs. The defense has lessened the pressure on the offense and Reid and it shows. If anything the team might be a little OVERconfident right now, but I'd like to think the past two opening quarters of games might help take that down a notch. They have been slow starting, but once they get their shit together and figure a few things out they just seem to take over. And playing at home clearly helped the past two weeks.

Just some random thoughts... gonna be and has been really exciting around here.

Chargers were probably the best at containing KC O especially the first game. Second game I guess was pretty much meaningless. Either way Maholmes still did far more with his feet. And I believe that?s the way he?ll do it here if he can. SF line way faster than the slogs they have seen in TN and Watt (looked tired and slow)

Could be a great one. Good luck
