seattle (ML) 2 units to win 2.3. seattle's defense is designed to stop offenses exactly like Denver. look what they did to drew brees twice. they held the saints to a total of 22 points in 2 games. and that includes a td with 26 seconds left in the playoff game. this defense, by far, does a better job than anyone at stopping the ball-control passing game. assuming their d backs are still allowed to hold on every play, they will take Denver out of what they like to do.
also, Denver had a very easy path to this game. that was not a good chargers team that they beat. and the pats? mediocre at best. they had lost a lot of key guys on defense and their offense was not good without gronk.
one factor that worries me... and this is very odd.... Denver's defense was actually better without von miller this season. in games that he started and finished, Denver was 5-3. without him, they were 10-0. they gave up 27 points/game with him and only 22/game without him.
that said, seattle should have just enough success against a patchwork Denver defense to get a win today.
