Interesting stat I heard on the way home tonight. The QB that has led the league in passing for the year has never won the SuperBowl. This year Brady led league , so will see what happens. I forgot how many have failed in past seems like Gannon, Brady, Marino going off of memory. Again just heard this have not researched.

I wonder how many of those passing leaders actually made it to the Super Bowl. Off the top of my head, a guy like Brees, who I believe has led the league in passing yards 7 of the past 10 years or something, was only able to make it one super bowl. That might skew the stats a bit, at least in recent years. Strange that the year her won it, he actually had a down year passing (for him), but that was partly due to him resting week 17.

Tom Brady led the NFL with 4,577 passing yards this season

No player to lead the NFL in pass yards has ever won the Super Bowl in that season (0-5 record)

Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Rich Gannon, Kurt Warner & Dan Marino all lost in the Super Bowl after leading NFL in pass yards
also Brady wins MVP award for season night before Bowl the past 8 QB winners all lost s/u and ATS

OLD school they might not need to be pass rushing even tho they can i truly believe Eagles offense dominates TOP and keeps Brady on the bench.
