Tough to go against NE here, but I am never in love with the idea of spotting 7. For that matter, I am not in love with laying 6 either. But, I do have -3, -3.5 & some at -5.5 from bets made weeks ago when it was AFC vs. NFC. I may add some at -6 if it gets there and may middle some of it if I can get 7.5 or more. With the line at 7, the more favorable play to me seems to be the under. I base this just on the simple fact that both teams have tough defenses and the 48 that you can find now seems a touch high when both teams have that credential. I didn't dig much futher than that, I had the line figured in the 43-44 range. A detriment to this play is that NE always seems to find a way to put a Defensive TD on the board in a big game.
I am not a big teaser fan, but MVP will give you a vig free teaser.......(-6.5 is, of course, the prime teaser figure, 7 not bad, too, as you still push with a 1 point win) NE -1 & under 54 if it goes to 48 at that house. 47.5 now, however.

I know it is near taboo to play the under in a SB, but the only thing taking this one over, IMHO, is one or more return TDs. And Philly feasts on the NFC, and is mauled by AFC teams. McGinest, Bruschi, Vrabel, et al will shine on the 6th in XXXIX.

Tom Brady has a bad game about as often as I get laid, and the odds are roughly the same, so feel good for him , and bad for me.
