I am conservative as well but do you really need to call them fucking liberals as well as be so adamant against same sex marriage? It is 2015, not 1990. Move forward and understand. Life is different. Are you 60ish in age? Just asking.

That's all any marriage is to the government is a civil union. Marriage, the term, is not defined by religious principle or deity. You find definitions in the dictionary not the bible. As a Republican, you're supposed to be a staunch supporter of the Constitution. There is a clear separation of church and state in the constitution. It therefore stands to reason that legislation or lack thereof is not and should not be influenced by any religion.

There is no legislation requiring any religious organization to perform a ceremonial wedding in their church. No religion will be affected in any way.
You see hedge, as I stated before, they're all civil unions which is why a judge grants a divorce and not a priest. I'm sure you recall that.
In previous posts in other threads or maybe this one as well you've described gay marriage as a disease, and sickening as well as many other things. You've plagiarized verbiage which foretold of lawsuits, people marrying their dogs or phones, yet you're wanting us to believe you're okay with civil unions?
You're okay with lying about it in an effort to soften your ignorant beliefs.
What is the most disturbing is that you expect anyone to believe you have friends.
So in closing, you're not really "for civil unions" at all. Your "for" Sharia law in some form. You're "for" the restriction of liberty to certain cultures, races, and classes. That's what is never going to change about you.
