Thanks everyone for well wishes. All good at home. Took me awhile to get out of there as I have a hard time with anesthesia or coming out of it. They gave me 200 fentanyl. I took a pain pill just to stay ahead of it and it was a little sore, plus bupivacaine injection would be wearing off. That pain pill sent me into crazy dizziness nausea and lightheaded ness. Not sure anyone get addicted to that shit.
Anyways, I asked for an injection of a product called EXPAREL. still not on hospital formulary. Bupivacaine in liposomes designed to be injected into sub fascia all the way out subcutaneous. Neutralize the trocar soreness. This provides pain relief or numbing for 3 days. Hence I wouldn't have taken that narc. I know this isn't a painful
operation but I didn't want to feel it at all. :violin:
