Going to be a tough week, as some of the stronger teams are starting to be used up and the parity is kicking in.

Initial lean to Washington, but will look at a few others this week.

Let's hear what you think.

I still have Washington and the Giants so I will keep it simple and most probably will go with one of them, depending on the outcomes for tonight's game.

If the Giants lose tonight, I will lean heavily towards them next week, if they win, complacency may set in and you saw how they played against the Bengals a few weeks back.

Washington & Pete Kendall stuck one in my ear yesterday. Had the Vikings in my other pool and they almost got me in the other one! Down to one pool.

Already used the Giants. I am looking at the Skins & Houston. Detroit sucks against the pass and Houston should be able to throw it on them. I am afraid to use the Skins, but they should rebound and win. Something about that team that I just don't trust. Oh yeah, it was yesterday!

for an early look i'm liking tb, giants & wash, have all 3 of them left so it'll be a tough one. my pool had 916 to start and is down to 85. i'm going to take the same approach as mentioned above and look at the giants game tonight before i make a decision. most likely i will take the redskins next week but if the giants lose tonight i will consider taking them for a bounce back win at home vs sf. Tampa looks to be in a good spot at home vs seattle but that play will most likely be eliminated for 2 reasons. I don't like taking a team who is off a 17+ pt win and going against a team who looked pretty miserable this week (i think clem d has posted this trend about the 17pt winners/losers) and I am targeting tampa later in the year (week 13 at home vs saints), trying to map out the rest of the year strategically. can't find a good spot to take the skins or giants again though.

Initial lean is to the redskins

Tampa Bay is on my short list as well. This Seattle team is fade material, that's for sure. While I understand the notion of saving them for a later week, I'm not sure how much longer my pool is going to last at this point.

Just an fyi I wish I caught onto sooner --- the most popular pick in my pool has lost every week ats, something to consider as well going forward.

I stayed away from Wash and Minn... just had a feeling on both.... Big road wins the week before, due for a let down.

We started with 1000 entries, were down to 182 and lost 83 with Wash and would have dropped another 70 with Minn. I took NO and the Jets, so I still have 2 picks. This year is the quickest we have dropped so many. Last few years we usually have over 150 in week 10

Pick 1
W1 - Philly
W2 - Arizona
W3 - Giants
W4 - Carolina
W5 - Dallas
W6 - Jets

Pick 2
w1 - NE
w2 - TB
w3 - Buff
w4 - Jax
w5 - Car
w6 - NO

I think week coming up is the toughest by far. Ideal situation is that Cleveland wins tonight, which makes Wash a good pick next week, as well as the Giants. Strong lean is Pitt and Houston, but I fear 0-5 teams (which is why I stayed away from Det and STL thins week) Other leans are Tenn (I try to never take road teams)

If anyone still has the Giants left, they will have to be the prime candidate for Week 7 pick. They have a great chance to get ahead in the tough NFC East, especially now that Romo is out for a month and Dallas may be in trouble.

I am still not sold on the Browns, they played great last night but that was at home and they came off a bye week. It's kind of a good thing the Redskins lost last week because they will be focused for the game on Sunday.

Lean to Washington but man, I really want to take Houston. Detroit is just bad and without Calvin Johnson [haven't heard the latest on him], how can they score? Houston's offense has been good lately.

Anyone else liking the Texans?

Love Houston this week too! Also, Mike Williams (Det) may be traded today to dallas (heard on Dan Patrick show).

I have Wash, NYG, Hou, and Pitt on my short list..

Every week has been a nailbiter for me, I need a blow out.

Gotta think that the Skins are a good pick to rebound at home after last weeks disaster, however the Browns sure did look decent.

Other leans: Tampa Bay vs. banged up Seattle team and Houston vs. Detroit.

Tell me about it, my last 4 picks have been NYG {OT vs. Cincy], JAX [OT vs. Hou], Den [3 pt win over TB] and Minnesota [2 pt win over Det]

Now with Kitna done, how in the world can a Dan Orlovsky win a game on the road??? Houston looks even better.

Wk 3- Buf last second win vs. Oak
Wk 4- Jac over Hou last second FG
Wk 5- Dal close one over Cincy
Wk 6- Minny over Det on a bogus PI call

I lock in picks early in the week, and then change on feel (just to be sure I have a pick in). As I mentioned, ideal situation was for NYG to lose... and they did!!!!

I have the Giants locked in and also TB for my other picks.

Staying away from Houston based on my theory from last week.... Everyone in the world will be on Houston, maybe the only time you can them this year. This being the case, I will take someone else, hope for an upset and knock out a ton of people.

It worked last week with Wash and almost with Minn.... Remember, this is the NFL, so when you think there is no way a team can win, that means they will.

I used Pitt or they would be on my short list.

Starting to think that the Bucs are going to be my play. Seattle coming across country, beat up and bruised, to play a pretty solid Tampa team. I wouldn't lay the points with that Bucs offense, but I will trust them to get the job done here.
