if u bet the bears, kiss ur suicide pool goodbye.

huge sucker play. the whole world is going to take them and they will lose outright. mark my words.

they just gave up 41 points to the vikings.
they just had a week off and play tenn next week.
they are overlooking this game.
no one is giving the lions a shot here.
this has happened before. it happens every year.

there are 264 teams left in my suicide pool out of 3298 and i would assume at least 220 will take the bears.

i am taking the philadelphia eagles

if you take the bears , u r a sucker. sorrry

I was thinking the Browns. Bears scares the hell out of me too. Ravens on the road for the 3rd time in 4 weeks. Browns playing better (beat Giants and Jags and close loss to the Skins in last 4).

Let's not overthink this. The Lions are a BAD team,,,period.
This is the only game the rest of the way that the Bears should win and if they lose this one, you can kiss their playoff hopes goodbye.
Having the bye week helps them. You acn talk yourself out of this, but if you do and the Bears win and you are eliminated you will be kicking yourself.

Agree with the sentiment, a lot of Bears coming in and a little scary to tell you the truth. I think I am going to go with Jax perhaps.

Consenus pick in my pool are 0-8 ATS. Bet your butt I'll be taking a shot at the Lions +13.

Still think they are the play to win straight up though.

In my pool too the consensus is 0-8 ATS and I went a step further, if you teased (which I hated doing) the top two teams in the pool you would be 8 - 0 too! So for the rest of the year I am going against the top pick ATS and tease the top two for $$$$$$!

I really don't care if the Bears cover either, just win by one and survive :00hour !

Good luck,
Budha

I hit the book pretty good last weekend, but I did lose on Detroit +7. How many times before we say no more? To use my dad's analogy, losing teams find ways to lose. I agree with you though.

I ended up going with the Jaguars. The Bears will in all likelihood win but I just have an uneasy feeling about that game.

After much hemming and hawing (again!), I have decided to go with the Indianapolis Colts for the game tonight. There really is no reason why a 3-4 team like the Colts is a 6.5 favorite over a 5-2 Patriots team and I will have to side with the books...

Both Addai and Sanders are expected to play tonight and with Sammy Morris/Laurence Maroney/Lamont Jordan not expected to play, Matt Cassel will be counted on to provide the offense for the Pats and I think it is a tall task in Indy. This is pretty much a must-win for Indy, i see this game as very similar to the one a few weeks ago when the Chargers simply rolled over the Pats.

I would like to take the Bucs but I don't have them available. I have an iffy feeling about the Bears and Jaguars.

Let's roll boys!

Still alive with them Colts. Their D is brutal though, i am glad I don't need to pick them again.

We only lost 1 player this weekend who was on Jacksonville. Still 8 left, could be down to 3 if Detroit hung on but I am alive for another week and that's all it matters.
