Great season though.......but Sandra winning this season was even worse then last year.

Jury should be ashamed of themselves....Sandra did fuck all. She was terrible. Beyond pathetic that she won.

Back to back seasons where jury took things personally, oh well.

Parv and Russell were so much better it is laughable.

Russell the best ever, 3rd and 2nd in back to back seasons, no harm in that.

Kick, that's saying Jim Kelly was the greatest QB ever because he got to the Super Bowl 4 times.

The object is to win the game, I like Russell and enjoy watching him but he has lost twice now. He needs to change his game to win.

Sandra is 2 for 2, her game whatever it may be has made her win.

Survivor has been the single show that I ALWAYS watch. I've seen every episode.

Never again. ever.

Sandra burning Russell's hat at the end really summed herself up nicely. She's a turd. She makes out like she is sweet and innocent and all that woe is me crap. Yet she's no different than anyone else.

All those great players on the jury, in my opinion, ruined their legacy to the game and what made it great.

And Rupert... quite possibly the absolute biggest fucking baby I have ever seen.

In poker terms... Russell is a great tournament player that always makes it to heads up, but never gets the bracelet.

Like I said two weeks ago I like Russell, I enjoy watching him but his end game is just horrible. He even admitted it on the reunion show. Early and mid game are great but end game just way too many bridges, he leaves himself no shot to win.

I will agree with you on two things kickserv, Russell is my favorite and Sandra didn't deserve to win but then again the jury picked the one they like most of the 3 and had it been Colby or Jeri instead of Sandra I'm pretty certain those two would have won as well.

Nicaragua should be interesting. Also in the reunion show boston rob and russell were bickering back and forth. They dynamic of having two captains on separate tribes would be cool. They did that one season bringing stephanie into the game by herself.

I agree with ya Marine, although I will still watch. I have watched every season and love em all. The problem is back to back seasons you have had "bad players" win.

Sandra is not only a bad player but as you put it "just as bad" as the rest. Thankfully in the 20 seasons there have been times where the best player wins. So that is why I always watch. But man oh man it is tough to take when a truly awful player like Sandra wins twice, man that is tough to take.

And I disagree with those that say Russell plays with a flawed strategy, the guy is an incredible player and is clearly the best. He just has bad luck with the jury. There have been many instances where winners have won jury votes even though the jury members hate them. The problem lies with pathetic juries. I mean when you have wack jobs like "Coach" and a pussy like Rupert who thinks Survivor is some sort of moral council.

Russell is so far and away the best it is scary, but he just gets a raw deal with the jury. Russell shouldn't change is strategy at all, not one bit. He would never make the finals if he played any other way. It is that simple. I can think of 5 seasons where Russell would have won easily, but when you have morons on the jury, what can you do:shrug:

After 20 seasons the producers have made a ton of changes, one thing they should do is allow the jury to watch the show and then vote. You get the members of the jury segregated amongst themselves and then they go vote all within 12 days. Give them 3 months to come back and vote. Enough of this personal bullshit. It is a fucking game

I mean nobody but nobody thinks Sandra deserved to win. Parvati and Russell not winning was a joke, an absolute joke. No other way around that fact.

Russell gets results and Sandra did fuck-all. Pathetic.

Great season though, but man oh man you gotta feel bad for Russell.


One thing the last two seasons that is positive, is that in season 21 you can be sure the person who wins, deserves to win. No way 3 years in a row a shit winner wins...well hope not.


Says a lot about our society though, so many people take shit personally, I mean if you can't take somebody lying to you and telling you to fuck off in a game then you are one weak person. Fucking weak people in this world, super weak.

It is a fucking game, who gives a fuck if someone lied to you on a reality show, I mean please.

I started to see this coming. Sandra is the absolute best ever at hanging around and peaking at the right time. Her approaching Rupert and him screwing her over and then he gets dumped got her the million dollars. I started to respect her and wanted her to win towards the end of the show. she was a straight shooter.
I thought Russel keeping Parvati was a major bonehead maneuver.

AND Russel, Great player, but I lost respect, because he seems so clueless as far as people despising him. HE JUST DOESN'T GET IT..

I was watching the show that I predicted exactly what would happen 6 weeks ago.

Everyone on the jury lost $1,000,000 for believing in Russell. There's no way he could win that way. The strategy he used can never be used to win this game and that's why it sucks and that's why he sucks. . . not to mention the fact that he used it and lost back to back.

Russell didn't get votes because people wanted to teach him a lesson. The jury is simply too stupid to do that on their own.

Because people's feelings got hurt and they are unable to compartmentalize things is why russell lost.
For every jury member that stands there and says "i played with honor, and truth" -- puke. You can go back with every single one of them and watch their lies right there on camera.
But because russell did it better - he is evil?

The biggest reason for this latest shift to juries awarding the "sweetest" person the million is the change from Final 2 to Final 3.
if Mark Burnett goes ahead and changes it back to final 2 at the vote, you are going to see stronger winners.
otherwise, they might as well all just vote the person with teh nicest smile as the winner of it all on Day 2, and then spend 37 more days camping out on the beach and roasting marshmallows.

And as said above, Russell would have won in other seasons, many a time a jury awards their vote to who played the best even though they don't like the person.

Russell played a perfect game, absolutely perfect. He just had bad luck with the jury. In 20 seasons he would have won over and over again. But last two seasons he has had to deal with a bunch of babies on the jury.

Russell is by far the best ever. Just sucks that he had bad luck. I mean if Parvati won, then that would be fine. But 6 babies voted for Sandra, now that is pathetic.

During the final Tribal Council, Parvati provided a cogent, logical argument why she deserved to win (she played all facets of the game well) but failed to sway any of the Heroes.

Parvati was also hurt by her game-long alliance with Russell. In a sense, she was infected by that ?Russell stink.? What?s worse, she said, is she had a hard time shaking the impression she was riding Russell?s evil coattails. She could not find a way to charm the Heroes. They were immune.

She argued on the show and with me that she chose Russell out of necessity, not because she thought he was a saint. In fact, he was one of the few people willing to ally with her from the get go (including Danielle and Jerri). She needed some sort of alliance to survive.

Despite her problems, Parvati thought she had a legitimate shot to win. So did Russell. He lied and broke pacts with virtually everybody on the jury, often in threatening and bullying ways ? unlike Parvati. Yet he believed the players could separate pure game play from personality. They could not.

Parvati said Russell was the most ?deluded? of them all and during breakfast Sunday was talking about how he probably got the votes of Coach, Rupert Boneham and Colby Donaldson. Heck, he even thought he had even gotten the vote of Sandra?s ally Courtney. He told Parvati her only sure vote was Danielle. He didn?t even think Sandra had picked up any votes.:scared

That?s why Russell brought Sandra along to the final three in the first place after he had won the final immunity challenge. He had no respect for her style of ?Survivor? and didn?t think anybody else did either.

How powerful was Sandra?s appeal to the jilted Heroes? Parvati thinks even if he had kept chosen Jerri over her, Sandra would have won although Jerri played an arguably better game. She operated in a low-key manner but made smart, strategic swing votes to keep her alliance alive.

If he had brought in Jerri and Parvati, Parvati might have had a better shot at winning but the Heroes might have favored Jerri because she was the least active of those three in terms of actively ?gaming? them.

To add insult to injury for Parvati, Russell did get some satisfaction and $100,000 by winning fan votes as best game player. By all measures, he was the most aggressive game player, for sure, but ?best? is arguable. (Parvati did take home the second-place prize of $100,000.)

After 114 days spanning three ?Survivor? episodes, Parvati said she is truly hanging up the boxing gloves for good. Instead, she is focusing a new wellness center she?s building in Santa Monica, set to open later this summer.
