I was considering posting about this as well. I don't see many sure-fire plays this week. Denver is the most obvious & they should win but Philly has 4 extra days to prepare. I used Indy in Week 1 (initial strategy was to pick every time playing Oakland), Cincy in Week 2, & New Orleans last week. I can't really up up with many others. Maybe the Titans?

I think the Chiefs are the best survivor bet this week. KC is an extremely tough place to play in and the Giants are truly a team in disarray. Andy Reid still has plenty to prove to his former rivals and would like nothing better than to lay the wood to Tom Coughlin one more time before he goes.

That is just my opinion.

Hope this helps,
FDC

My top 3 in order:

Colts
Saints
49ers

along with the rest of the world... i would avoid these and be rooting on the upsets there, I think Detroit or Washington is a good play, also like KC but would be a bit worried NYG finally get a W.. they gotta win sometime.. Lions and Redskins are solid choices IMO and you can pull for the upsets on the mentioned above where the majority of the contest will be on

In Survivor leagues, you have to win to continue ... Lions and Redskins (although I do believe they both win) would be way too risky for me to choose !!

Colts - It's Jacksonville, they are horrendous !!
Saints - On a Monday night, you really think someone is going to go into the Superdome and beat Drew Brees and company ?!!
49ers - More of a play against the Rams !! 49ers get back on track !!!

i understand the format... what I am saying is that you don't stand to gain anything taking any of the 3 you mentioned... and I believe all three have a chance at losing.. the safest one is indy, if you check my thread you will see im on the fins and think they win outright. Miami is a super tough matchup, SF is a mess at the moment and seems to always fuck it up vs the rams.. throw in the fact both are primetime games? both seem like traps to me.. BOL to which ever team you take, just figured I would throw my 2 cents in the convo. you don't win a survivor league by following the herd is all im getting at

Who do you guys like this week?

Looking at....Rams, Falcons and SF, thoughts ?

I'm thinking about the Falcons myself ... still at home in the dome vs a team with a rookie QB who has no one to throw the ball to ... I like my chances.

Rams seem like an obvious choice (& when would you ever feel comfortable using the Lambs again but it just seems like it's setting up to be one of those shit games where everyone takes STL & JAC is able to pull off the major upset.

49ers will win and cover

100% system play against Texans two systems they hit

#1 blowing a 17 point lead all in final quarter or second half #2 a DOG loser in OT

these are my own systems for NFL i created them over past 12 years systems are not like Trends because they apply to every team and some of my systems fall into 100% range this is one bad puppie this week 49ers get lucky with 3 xtra days to prepare !

BUT huge negative on 49ers side of ball huge ATS jump from negative 30.5 to + 20.5 = a 51 point spread swing will usually cause a negative ATS performance in next game

aaaaaawwwww fook it gotta make videos now after 4 weeks i have enough on every team to pick 10 winners or more every week!

i agree with scrap... 49ers i believe are a team I would be highly surprised if they lost outright.. i like to think they will cover as well but i won't be playing it.. but to win SU i think is a solid decision
