Hopefully everyone got through again, even thought I'm sure a lot of us were sweating.

Some good options this week:

Miami at home vs a pathetic Seattle team

Chargers at home vs KC, who may have played their best game of the year (or I should say best half game)

Cards at home vs San Fran (O'Sullivan will struggle to keep up)

Panthers at Oakland for those who like road chalk.

Now just need to figure out which one will be a winner.

Post your thoughts and good luck

First and foremost, I am staying away from Arizona. It is a divisional matchup and it's on prime-time to boot.

San Fran is off a bye and who knows what Mike Singletary did or said that could inspire these guys. Anything can happen here. Shaun Hill is an upgrade over JTO.

I need to find out the status of Hasselbeck and Branch before even thinking about Miami. Seattle is playing at the early time slot on the East Coast though and this angle has been money this year, at least from a Straight/Up look.

I have already taken San Diego and Carolina so believe it or not, my next best option would probably be Pittsburgh, pending the outcome of the game tomorrow night.

or Miami.

this week looks to have a bunch of good matchups unfortunately i've already used a few of the teams mentioned above (AZ & Car). I have mapped out the rest of the season based on matchups and here's what i'm looking at for the next 3 weeks.

Week 10:

SD at home vs KC. SD is off a bye and at home vs a weak KC team. I like to avoid divisional matchups but by week 10 its tough to have a ton of choices.

I'd like to take Miami but I think they're one of my top choices for week 11 so i will hold off on them this week.

Week 11:

Targeting 4 teams: Indy, Philly, TB & Miami

I'd love to use Indy at home in this spot vs Hou but they're still struggling to beat teams and this will be a tough divisional matchup, need to see them one more time to see if i can pull the trigger on the colts.

My # 1 rule is don't take a road team but i'm not sure how i can pass on the eagles at the bengals. The bengals got their one win and don't see philly slipping up this game, still need to think it over though because philly is my team and i don't trust them 100 % at home let alone the road.

TB at home vs Minn. Minn is a totally different team on the road and i think Tampa handles them pretty easily at home. again don't like a divisional matchup and think this pick will mostly be eliminated.

Final choice is Miami at home vs Oakland. Love fading the raiders and miami is gaining momentum each week. Love the west coast teams playing an east coast team at the early time spot. think i'll probably go with miami.

week 12:

easy pick with the Steelers at home vs the Bengals.

Let me know what you guys think. My pool has 61 people remaining with 916 total entries. thought it would make sense to map it out a few weeks since i don't think it'll end in the next week or so.

In my case, Miami and San Diego are the only two that I will consider.

Unless I find a really good reason to talk myself out of it, SD will be my selection. I've had them circled here for 4 weeks.

My pool lost 3 with Jax. Could've lost 9 more if Detroit and KC wouldn't have screwed the pooch.

I have to pick 2 this week.

Thinking Carolina and Mia/SD/Arizona.

Does anyone think Arizona is going to outshoot SF? I think Warner will go nuts.

My possible teams to pick are New England,Miami,Minn or Carolina.

I am thinking about New England. Buffalo has not shown me much over the last few weeks. As all of you do, I to try not to take div games or road favs but times are desperate.

So I am either going Pat's or Panthers. Hope someone here can persuade me one way or the other..only 5 teams left in the pool!!

My two choices are SD and Miami......

I have shyed away frm SD and Mia and I am now seriously concidering Carolina. SD and Mia both give up tons of yardage. i have definitely ruled out SD becasue KC took TB to OT last weekend. Miami still has the West coast team travelling 2+ time zones angle.... so Miami still may be a pick!

Carolina is starting to look like a team to be looking out for in the post season. They do not have a look ahead game (Det in week 11) and I just don't want to go against Det the rest of the year...they are going to win at least one game. With this win they can go up a full game on the idle Bucs.

GL on the pick....

Went with Carolina! I just don't like what is going on with the Raider camp (thank you captain obvious). Plus I think the "flavor of the week" will be Mia or SD and they just give up too many yards....we all know what happens to the teams who are the top pick :scared !

Ughhhhh! I took my first road team :mj09:

I'm on San Diego. KC is a mess and it is at SD.

Staying away from road teams, thus eliminating Carolina, like AZ but SF comes in with lots of new things going on. Think Miami is an easy choice, but, like others, will save them for next week against Oakland.

I wouldn't touch Minnesota against Green Bay (and I'm a Viking fan) with a 10 foot pole. They may win, they may cover, but to risk my Survivor pool on them...no way.

Again, this is my first year in any survivor pool.

Now Im in 2. Both at the same place, both with exactly 5 ppl left in each. Wierd. Second pool started in week 4. Ive used the exact same team in both pools since that week.

Today was the first time all year that I went and wrote down which teams I'd already used. Its almost starting to get confusing, which is why these things never held interest for me.

Got lucky these past few weeks with NYJ and CHI, hope I dont need it on this Sunday.

Taking San Diego in both.

I already played Sea + the points. I might be the only one on them but I also think they can win this game SU. Tough spot for Mia right now and I think they may come up flat. Two big games then not a very good performance offensively vs Denver pulling away with a late td. Seattle missing some key players and just suck but they are in full Cubs status right now (playing for the future) and just saw a stronger opponent this past week. Those kids may just give Miami a game.

jus saying Miami might not be the walk in the park this weekend

I find using a spreadsheet really helps. I have columns for Pool name, entry fee, picks deadline, website, misc notes and simply lay out the Weeks from Week 1 to Week 17.

No confusion there for me.

As for the games this week, I am leaning towards the Vikings and the Texans. I don't have many good teams left and it's time to make a ballsy call.

After much hemming and hawing again, I have decided to go with the Minnesota Vikings for this week.

I don't have San Diego, Carolina and the Jets available and I don't feel particularly strong about the young Dolphins off an impressive win and the Cards who pretty much has that division locked up on prime-time.

Time to make a ballsy call fellas. This is Green Bay second straight game on the road, I think the Vikes will make a statement here.

Best of luck to all!
