I really thought we were going to see some people fall last night with the Cards, no such luck.

At least the Chargers were an easy play :mj07:

I have had Miami circled for this week, but anytime you take the 'Phins in these pools it just doesn't feel right.

Colts and Panthers are both still available for me, and both are worth heavy consideration as well.

Let's hear what you think.

Above the Clouds....
I have Mia, Indy and Philly left.

Really shying away from Mia. They have won 3 in a row and I don't trust them this week. Strongest feel is Philly right now.

yeah, San Diego didn't make me sweat a bit...

Really like Carolina this week. Indy also looks good but, in looking ahead as I know I shouldn't do, Week 15 against Detroit looks even nicer.

I am looking at Atlanta and Miami since I don't have Philly, Indy and Carolina available anymore.

I really like the Falcons in this spot, they are very under-rated and Denver is still having all sorts of problems on the D and even at the RB position. If I don't take the Falcons now, I may have to wait until the last week of the season when they host the Rams...plus the NFC South teams are a combined 17-1 at home this season, what a division!

Miami I am not feeling that strong but Oakland is just plain bad and the Dolphins can really push for a wild-card spot, or even an AFC East crown. I trust Bill Parcells and Tony Sparano will keep these guys grounded and focused every week from here on out. Similar to the Falcons, if I don't take the Phins now, i will probably have to wait until Week 15 when they host the 49ers before I can consider them again...

Only 2 choices for me this week: Atlanta or Miami.

P.S: Just a friendly advice on Indy: There are better spots for them re: Week 14 against Cincy and Week 15 against Detroit, both at home. This Colts D is still bad and this is a divisional matchup. Houston D is not scaring anyone as well but they can put points up on the board.

It doesn't seem right putting the Dolphins down as "the" pick, but they seem my best option this week.....I don't have Carolina or Indy left.

Carolina played HORRIBLE last week and Oakland couldn't give them a go.....now they fly across the country for the 1:00 kickoff.....Miami starting to believe in themselves - Pennington on offense and Porter on defense should make sure they continue to be "up" for each week.

I gotta go with the Dolphins. :mj09:

Looking at the 32 left in my pool, over half have already used Carolina, so I assume Miami will be the consensus play.

The Oakland fade, especially cross country, makes so much sense, but are the Dolphins for real?

I have cut it down to ATL and MIA. I just think that Oakland is really bad. I cannot see them coming close in the Miami game. Carolina looked like a one dimesional team on Sunday. They keyed on S. Smith all game and Oakland had him well covered. The road is a different moster than being at home! Oakland ranks #29 in rush def.... R. Brown is going to have a field day!

ATL has really impressed me over the past few weeks. there def is one of the elite in the league.

GL with whoever you choose!

Is anyone looking at New Orleans for this week ? I don't typically consider road teams in this kind of Pool but I just think this is a bad spot for the Chiefs for many reasons

1. The Chiefs just came off 3 straight tough, emotionally drained games against the Jets/Bucs/Chargers.

2. Pretty much a must-win for the Saints who is still in the wild-card picture in the NFC.

3. The Chiefs is pretty banged up on defense and only has 6 sacks this season. If you let Drew Brees stand around in the pocket, things can get ugly in a hurry.

Basically we all know the Saints can score, the question is can Thigpen and Co. score enough to keep it up ? My bet is No...note that I think there are better choices out there (Miami/Carolina if you still have them) but I thought I would throw this one out for discussions.

Canabiz,

I was considering them, but I just cannot take a road team that is really bad on Defense. The line movement is in your favor though......

Good luck!

Man...I was really hoping San Fran would score and beat AZ last week,,it would have gotten my pool down to 5. Oh well. still 10 left.

I, too am having trouble pulling the trigger on Miami. But it either them or Carolina for me.

Leaning heavily to Miami now, based on Oakland having what may be the worst offense I've ever seen, and that there will be other opportunities to use Carolina later in the year, should I make it that far.

The next 3 weeks are brutal, so Im assuming that youre talking about a month from now, week #15 hosting Denver. Miami hosts SF that week and my numbers say that line would be comparable if not higher.

If you're in a large pool with many teams left then I can see it. Theres only 5 ppl left in this one and it doesnt seem likely that it will go another 4 weeks IMO.

Dolphins are a strong choice, but going with Carolina here.

32 left in my pool, and 16 have used Carolina already. Wouldn't mind keeping them in my back pocket for future use.

I am a little nervous about Miami... I like Indy and SF, but very nervous with SF. There are better spots for Indy. Here is how I see the rest of the season going (hopefully I make it every week)

11 Miam over Oak
12 Pitt over cincy
13 Dallas over Seattle
14 Denver over KC
15 Indy over Det
16 Cleveland
17 GB over Detroit

I submitted!!!

I submitted!!!

I was torn between Atl and Mia!

I went with Atl. I like to matchup and line movement. Denver will not even want to play in this non-conference road game...It came down to both good Offenses and Atl has the better Defense and they are at home.

Plus Denver has not played a game on turf this year!!!!!

Good luck!
