Dodged a major bullet with the Bills, and saw another 60 some exit via the Dolphins upset of the Pats.

Tough week this week as some of the more obvious plays are on the road :scared which goes against my better judgement.

Let's hear what everyone thinks.

Best of luck.

Denver is the clear #1 choice this week.

No way does KC beat them. They can not score w/ Cutler & the Broncos O.

2nd choice would be Buffalo

3rd Carolina

I also dodged a bullet with the Giants.

The two I'm looking at right now are

1) Jacksonville - I just hope this isn't a bit of a let down situation after the win at Indy, but Houston has looked awful to date.

2) Dallas - Arugably the best team in the NFL right now. Too much firepower for the Redskins, and the loss of Taylor won't help either.

I would prefer to pick on the Chiefs on the road - they are going to have to go San Diego and Denver later in the year if I am still alive at that point.

I would save Dallas for a later in the season out of division match up.

No use risking them vs an arch rival.

I think the same, which is why I used the Eagles and Giants early. Once the NFC East teams start beating the hell out of each other, they are all going to be tough to play.

Dallas looks like the best team in the league (hope Kneifl doesn't read this thread and see me say that) and they will still have a few layups at home later.

Denver to me is the obvious choice, but again wouldn't mind saving them for when KC comes to Mile High.

Jax is a solid look as well.

Surprise nobody has mentioned New Orleans, these cats can score that we all know, they piled up good chunks of points on above-average D in the Bucs and the Redskins.

Early start for San Fran and I am not sold on these guys who beat an injury-depleted Seahawks (giving up a ton of points in the process) as well as the terrible Lions.

I am staying away from Buffalo who has a tendency to play up and down to their level of competition. The Rams at 0-3 is a desperate team, whether that will translate into a W remains to be seen but there are better picks on the board.

I already used Buff so Den may be the choice but all the points they scored on Sun I'm afraid they may come up empty. Still looking. GL.

For some reason I just have a funny feeling about Jax and that Houston is better than their record indicates.

What are everyones thoughts on the Panthers?

They shouldn't let down because they lost their first 2. Only at 1-2

I reckon I'll go with the Cats.

This looks to be the week to use them anyway...

...other than that I think Jax are good things.

So, all up, I'm adding nothing new again! :142smilie

pittsburgh owns the ravens....now,they head into pitt on a monday night with a rookie qb in his first road game....

roethlisberger got sacked quite a bit last week but the raven pass rush is weak...

again,pittsburgh owns the ravens...

Not a bad point at all about the Steelers. If you are going to use them, this might be the week to do it.

Their remaining home schedule doesn't offer many soft spots to use them:

Ravens, Giants, Colts, Chargers, Bengals, Cowboys, Browns.

I think the Panthers are a solid pick this week too, but they do get the Lions in their building November 16th which will probably be a nice play as well.

Starting to give Pitt more serious consideration, thanks GW.

i say it in total objectivity,blackman....i`m a raven`s fan and i`m honestly excited about their future...

but, they just seem to not match up very well with decent pittsburgh clubs.....and regardless of the injuries, this is a pretty decent steeler team...

i`ve always thought pitt`s achilles heel has been their pass defense...seems like it`s been that way forever...unfortunately for the ravens, they don`t have the experience or the weapons to take advantage....

keep an eye on leron mcclain...he`s a 2nd year fullback from alabama who is probably the best runningback on the team....he`s brutal...

but, they`ll play mcgahee...which will be good for those that bet the steelers(meaning me)...

they`re laying in the weeds on this line,though.....i`m hoping no more than a 5 or a 6...

New Orleans
Wk 1 Phil
Wk 2 Tampa
Wk 3 San Diego ( almost went with Denver)
Wk 4 New Orleans -- also considered Carolina and Denver

Banged up Saints to get it done. I threw out Jax due to possible letdown factor. had I not used them last week, I would have thrown out SD because may come out flat off of a blowout on MNF.

if there was ever a week to take cinncy, this is it. comming home off a very improved effort on the road against one of the worst teams in the NFL. (bengals not much better) but should get it done.
