I am in a survivor league w/ a bunch of horses asses aka attorneys. They are pleading their case that they should not be eliminated by the tie in the case of the eagles/cinn game. Any feedback would be appreciated?

4 were eliminated by my pool who picked the Eagles. Every pool I've ever been in has eliminated the ties, since the rules state "you must pick a winner each week."
my pool is the opposite, if the team does not lose, you survive..
That being said, Our rules clearly stated at the beginning of the year, that if a team ties, it is considered a win
