HELL
Most of all of you that replied in this thread are in mine, and dont you worry about my name, the one under Madie/bella is going to beat you all :).

Thoughts, either Green Bay or Tampa. To addict, never take a road team this early in season or wiat until you have to. Indy shot their nut Sunday night and wont do the same thing this Monday night, plus Painter will probably be starting, the only thing that would scare me a little is the fact TB is coming off a big division win. For Green Bay, its Denver, enough said, so most likely it will be GB.

Good luck guys, addict I just put you in via managers selection with Seattle......

Addict!! WAAAS UP buddy!! Love the fact you are keeping this thread alive. I have survived as well and went SF, Pitt and SD...Glad SD is out of the way...as I hate everything about that team

I agree with others in this thread that home teams is 100% the way to go and home teams that are not playing a game within their division.

I don't want to burn GB yet and think Tampa at home is the best choice this week. Only concern is a slight let down after an emotional win against ATL which yu have to watch out for. However, I am digging catching Painter on a grass field and taking speed away from Indy team.

I am going to roll with Tampa I think....but just my 2 cents!

JR......I would also love to get in your pool next year!! Again, happy to send a check anytime!

And I am loving your boy Sean Lee on my squad....talk about a guy who is stepping up for my squad!!

P.S. Have a great friend of mine who lives in State and a member at Centre Hills. Love that golf course and greens are lightning fast!! He is a diehard PSU fan so I always route for your squad.

Not in jr11's pool but I have been playing these Pools for a number of years and want to wish you guys all the best.

Someone above said that this is the best week to use Green Bay, i don't necessarily agree as they will face the Rams in Week 6.

That being said, I am still leaning heavily towards Green Bay as I don't trust the Bucs, especially on prime-time. These guys like to play up and down to the level of their competitions and like to let teams hang around...that can bite you in the behinds.

Cheerios and surviving we will!

tampa is locked in as of now :toast:

hear what everyone is sayin about let down, but just dont see it. painter playin all game vs a team that plays well at home. freeman will not let em lose. honestly, indy has a small D from front to back, and i see tampa just bullying them all night.

blount runs wild!!! nice matchup for fantasy owners with him...

someone talk me outta it and into takin the PACK which is the obvious choice

i am being greedy, ii just really want the pack for down the road

well gents, never too early to start lookin into next week. barley survived week 3 with sandiego, but a winner nonetheless.

had a handful get knocked out with philly/newengland, and a good amount on pitt who fuckin barley squeaked by curtis painter tonite

no more games except the dreadful cowgirls and redskins on MNF, so gonna start thinking about week 4.

i have to thank everyone, cause week 1 i was going to use cleveland, and week 3 newengland, so i would be out twice if it wasnt for your help. :0008

teams i have used.
week 1- houston
week 2- pitt
week 3- sandiego

week 4 games i like, in this order.

1. Green bay Home vs. denver

2. Tampa Home vs indy

3. New england on road vs oakland
(will not lose 2 in a row to buff/oakland)

4. Saints Road vs jacksonville

looked at chitown, but with cam playin like he is, just not enough faith that cutler will not throw 4 picks.

2 road teams i know thats a no-no, but like i said, green bay and tampa are my favs. think this could be a good spot to use tampa in, seeing as they have atlanta again, and the saints twice down the road, along with chicago and dallas and games @ tennesse and san fran. might be the time to use them.

lemme know opinions like always. i realize its early, but i am bored and got buddies here drunk who are steelers fans, so figured i would get away...

Week 1 - SF
Week 2 - Pitt
Week 3 - Carolina

I am leaning to either Tampa or Green Bay right now. I don't prefer using away teams and I would prefer to save GB but I am not sure I trust TB yet.

I am 100% on the same page with you on this and your analysis....have Tampa pick in already. This is as good as a play as any...only risk is Indy is desperate for a W, but I think this isn't the week....they will get it at home. Painter is F'in 3rd string for crying out loud and Indy DE's not going to speed rush as effective on grass....Tampa hosting MNF....I mean come on. Can Tampa have a let down after big divisional W against ATL...yah I guess but on MNF at home?? :00x32 :0035

One thing is a lock Addict-ifwe both choose Tampa...I will be right there with yah on MNF thread here cheering our pick in if we both keep Tampa! :toast:

What I've done thus far and my tentative map:

1. AZ
2. DET
3. SD
4. @TB (Ind)
5. @NYG (Sea)
6. @PIT (Jax)
7. @NO (Ind)
8. @HOU (Jax)
9. @DAL (Sea)
10. @GB (Min)
11. @NE (Kc)
12. @BAL (Sf)
13. @CHI (Kc)
14. @NYJ (Kc)
15. @ATL (Jax)
16. OAK (@Kc)
17. @PHI (Was) or @DEN (Kc)

Hopefully none of you fools are in my pool that started w/415 ppl @ $100. Down to 258 after wk. 3. I made it to final 4 last year and lost w/Philly in wk. 16's snow debacle when they were a 14 pt fave over Vikes sans Favre. I spent quite a bit of time on this, so, you're welcome. Most of these should be dd faves. :0008

wow great stuff man...

Don't know Dr. Rays, but if he is a Rays fan he is probably pretty stoked right now. BTW, Paterno has the worst breath in the country. He has lost recruits b/c of it.

Think this is a prime spot to use TB with Indy coming off that Pitt game.

Green Bay is really a no brainer here, and if you look at their schedule there is not another time they will be favored by this much.

I'm also in Jr11's pool, and the current CHAMP!! So, this may be last bit of advise.

how much you win sir? did you use home teams all the way through?
