Sweep stats?

I've got a progression project in the process and was wondering if anyone knew the location of any total series vs. series sweeps stats? Any input would be appreciated.

I have torn apart the current season on a series basis and was just beginning to do the same with the 2000 season. Some VERY intriguing trends on strong home teams playing "weaker" visitors were coming out.

Til last weekend.

Til home stands by BOS, CHC, LAD. Home teams swept in every series.

GAWD, I'm glad I hadn't started to bet those series progressively. Woulda just been torched.

"Past Results" on covers.com is an excellent source of previous records. You can copy and paste into Excel and then easily sort.

I've given up on it.....the geometric increase in amount bet vs. the payout is not worth it in the cost to my stomach lining.

I reread my reply and realized I hadn't answered your original question.

I wasn't able to find a source that just gave me the series info.

Doesn't mean it's not out there, I'm sure it is. Just couldn't find it. Got impatient and built my own spreadsheet.

Thanks for the note, I've just finished writing a database for this season and hope to have the 1st half done by all-star break. I'm using a little tighter criteria for a series to qualify, I'll publish my findings when I'm done.
