I am coaching a hockey tournament team this weekend in Toronto of 5-6 year olds and I have decided to call them the Oakville THUNDER!!!
One kid on the team asked me why we are called the Thunder and I said, "Because Thunder is always "Winning"

MY REASONING ON BOTH ARE THIS lets start with the under- these teams play slow i mean real slow-RANKED 279 AND 345 IN SHOTS PER GAME -WHICH TRANSLATE TEMPO-so one team trying to enforce a quick tempoi is not going to happen- add into that these guys dont turn it over- which means no break aways no easy baskets unless there are d lapses which these guys just dont do. i think both these guys get betwee 40-50 shots at the basket- I HAVE THIS GAME AT 118
279. BUTLER 64.3 (-2.4 NCAA Avg Pos/Gm)
345. WISCONSIN 57.6 (-9.0 NCAA Avg Pos/Gm)
NOW WHY WISCONSIn- as i stated above these guys are very slow tempo teams- so scoring on the limited pocessions is vital- wisky is #2 in the nation in scoring per poss. Butler averages almost a half a point less per possesion-Butler has been winning by causing turnovers -against OLD DOM an pitt- even though they got killed on the boards and otshot by 30 and both PITT and OLD DOM turned the ball over so alot of easy baskets- meanwhile butler held onto the ball.- WISCONSIN IS 13TH IN THE COUNTRY IN LEAST AMOUNT OF TURNOVERS THEY JUST DONT TURN IT OVER THEY ALSO REBOUND THE HECK OUT OF THE BALL.- OUTSIDE OF hOWARD- butler sucks at rebounding- wisky is also second in the country in ft shooting-82% as a team- and butler fouls especially inside- wisky has the advantage in every cat- add in the early move on wisky -with the volume on butler

I took wisc ml in par to under a few days ago, agree w/you on the Wisc gm and total and realllly appreciate the early posts!
I have a full morning and going to watch the SdSt/Conn gm w/some fellow alumn middayi!
What are your thoughts on Aztec/Conn gm and total?
I'm thinkg the line may go up on Conn so I'm waiting to play SD.
I played it over 130 on monday, it's dropped 1.5 pts, and now most are saying it may start fast but turn into a snail race..
I also played the 1st half over 60 (which I feel safer about than the game @ 130).
I also like Byu and Over.... maybe the over more thatn the side.. seeing both ways from people so far.
People seem to be pretty quiet about Az/Duke.. I think Az will want to go up and down all game, I see over and like the dog .
If possible, any selections/ the % amts for tomorrow's gms are appreciated!

LORD IM ON THE UNDER- ITS ASHARP PLAY- THE LINE IS DROPPING BECAUSE ITS BEEN HIT HARD IN THE LAST 24 HOURS-I ALSO TOOK THE OVER IN DUKE AT THE BETTER NUMBER BUT STILL LIKE IT WHERE ITS AT-
AS FAR AS GAME IM LEANING SD-KIMBA WALKER IS UNREAL- BUT SDSTATE HAS A LOCK DOWN GUARD TOP 3 IN COUNTRY IMO
BUT IM FOR SURE ON THE UNDER JUST WONT POST HOW MUCH UNTIL MY BUDS ALL HAVE THERE STUFF IN

I also like SD on the side, they'll probly rotate a few diff players against Kemba so no one gets in foul trouble too quickly. That's what they did against Jimmer... he is pretty unstoppable... amazing to watch in person.
Aztec players are very long-limbed, remind me of tayshaun prince on the pistons (but stronger) w/his length, but Aztecs don't shoot as well as he does. But man they can rebound and handle the ball well for big guys.
I'll ck in the morning for info on other games then, hope we all make some $$$

no problem one more thing on the under if you like sd state the under is the way to go- this game is going to be about tempo -if u conn can get out in transition they win this game- if sdstate dictates tempo and holds fenderonto the ball -they win- everybody is talking about kimba- jimmer ans smith- the kid for sdstate in my opinion is the best player in the country-
you must be talking about kawhi leonard? the small forward?
he does play defense on the other teams best player and I expect him to start against kemba, but as I said they'll rotate defenders I think as they did vs jimmer.
Leonard is an excellent rebounder, and is extremely adept at reading the shot and getting to the spot the ball will bounce toward... and is a very quick leaper, he will often get up for a 2nd rebound attempt while the opponent is still gathering himself.
I've seen SD run the transition game themselves and they're very good on the open floor, they have some bigger guys that can handle the ball effectively and love to run and dunk.
but it's very possible/likely the second half turns into a half-court game... I'm looking forward to the energy level. I think sdsu will be nervous at first, but sometimes that leads to good things...
