L'Ville is playing well, but let's see how the perform in New Mexico. I think this Washington team has a serious chip on their shoulder to prove everybody wrong. "Little" Nate Robinson is the most explosive player this side of the Miss. (Dee Brown) left in the tourney. He simply dominated in all of the predraft camps.
This will be a very fast tempo game - Hopefully, T. Dean and Garcia will be somewhat controlled in this game. Both can shoot the lights out. I look for Wash. to pull away late in the game.

This team is hot. Nothing is more important in basketball than confidence if channeled correctly. Right now, this team feels it can compete against anybody in the nation. However, I think the NCAA wants B. Knight in the great eight. Conspiracy Theory... Maybe.
NC State -2
Again the "confidence" factor. J. Hodge (who I despise) is showing why he was considered one of the best players in the nation. He simply dominated in areas of the game against Char. and UConn. Wisconsin doesn't have answer for Hodge. Plus, I think the Big Ten is down this year and Wisc. will lose this game by DD.
Duke -4.5
I might take Duke on the ML. The Spartans beat two lesser oppt. but always play well in the dance. Duke has one of the best clutch players in JJ Red. This game will be close with Duke pulling away at the end. One thing that scares me is P. Davis of MSU. If he gets hot Duke doesn't have an answer. Plus, S. Brown (Most explosive this side of lake Michigan) has been playing better, and has started to live up to his reputation out of high school.
